Scary.

His praise of Castro is disturbing, his honeymoon in the USSR was disturbing, this comment is disturbing.

Luckily he's been eliminated as a candidate, but I hope in the future people will look into a candidate past more. I hope those of you who lean left look into Hillary more. She's a different kind of villain.

This 12 second clip actually makes me believe even more that he is the only candidate worth voting for this election.

What's wrong with providing breadlines for the poor?
Let me guess. "Darwin"?

Problem is when you go all "socialist" like Sanders you get breadlines because communism doesn't work. Then the poor start starving to death.

Where do you see people starving to death? Where do you see breadlines? Why don't you see that Sanders is wrong?

Jane Sanders, who led Burlington College from 2004 to 2011, spent millions on a new campus — 33 acres along the bank of Lake Champlain — to attract more students and donations from alumni. It didn’t work: The college failed to recruit enough students or donations to repay its debts and even came close to losing its accreditation.

Reminder that Jane Sanders (who Bernie lets manage his sad finances) sank a college into debt with her terrible decisions, and was appointed because they thought her husband would be able to influence people.

Bread lines for the poor is only the beginning. It's the beginning phase of bread lines for all us commoners. Soon, people will be tackling each other for Soylent Green chips! Relying on government for anything puts them in control. Never rely on government for free handouts as the ultimate price will be our freedom.

That's odd. The Catholic church down the road from me feeds the poor every Tuesday and Saturday with soups and bread rolls.

Does that mean Catholics support bread lines and Communism, or do they believe in helping those in need?

Context is key.

The problem is socialist policies cause breadlines.

We ended breadlines with food stamps.

We have no use for breadlines to feed the masses. Unlike communist and socialist utopias.

Friendly reminder Sanders is a democratic socialist who fights corruption. Trump is a pseudo Republican who is one of the corrupt.

Oh and Trump has had many bankruptcies due to poor management of businesses.

Just so long as we are handing out friendly reminders.

Please. Hillary's email investigation exists purely to benefit Bernie and propel him to victory.

And Trump's campaign exists for the same reason.

Bernie has a *roughly* $18 trillion spending plan and a plan to give the federal government unprecedented power. Why wouldn't he be The Chosen One?

Even when Bernie wins, the voters won't bother to wake the eff up. They will believe they 'beat' the Establishment and nothing could be further from the truth.

As he says, in some countries"...the rich get the food and the poor starve to death." He's right about that. It's not to say breadlines/ food banks are a solution for poverty but without them or the food being taken as mentioned, the people are in even worse shape when already suffering.

No, it's not that I support him nor Communism-I implore on people looking into how bad it is.

Also, USSR marriage, more info on that;

During Bernie’s mayoral tenure, Burlington formed an alliance with the Soviet city of Yaroslavl, 160 miles northeast of Moscow. When in 1988 he married his wife, Jane, the mayor decided it would be a perfect place for his honeymoon. In a tape of his interview with Yaroslavl’s mayor, Alexander Riabkov, Sanders acknowledges that housing and health care appear to be “significantly better” in the U.S. than in the socialist paradise. “However,” he added, “the cost of both services is much, much, higher in the United States.”

"Democratic Socialism" is derived from Marxist principles. It was converted in a COUPLE ways by Eduard Bernstein. The main difference is the Mode of Production (Capitalism) but almost all other tenants are deeply Socialist.

Well, let's start rounding-up Catholics. Sounds to me like they are a threat to our 'Merican way of life.

We need to spend our time and money on war and stuff. Feeding the poor is a waste.

Whatever. Democratic socialism is at the root of Fabian socialism -- the socialism of the Elite-elite.

The corrupt elite will profit so much (in power & money) when Congress spends money under a Bernie administration.

Bernie isn't about fighting corruption. He's about higher taxes. And even if those taxes come largely from the wealthy, the wealthy will still profit through government spending and make up any tax-losses many times over.

As long as Congress is in the picture, then a bigger spending plan is designed to steal from the poor & middle class and give to the rich.
