No Time
And time, there's not enough of it,
It flows too fast, moves too quick.
Rushes by at lighting speed,
A moment lost each time we breathe.
I give it away, like it has no value,
Thinking I'll have more time tomorrow.
Spent on people who demand it of me,
Waste precious moments foolishly.
And when I stopped to give it thought,
Who deserves my time, who does not?
I realized I wasn't spending it right,
Wasting precious moments of my life.
Time is the thing we should value most,
A linear measure of the life we chose.
You can spend it however you see fit,
But you never seem to get enough of it.
