Imagine a group that has been given your plan too write history
through a series of repeated events brought about by
ideas/beliefs/teachings/prophecy's

This group repeats these similar events

When they start to believe these beliefs/ideas/prophecy's are
their own making , then you have successfully implanted your plan

if this group survives at the end of the cycle it will hand down
this plan too the groups in the next cycle
through the ideas/beliefs/teachings/prophecy's

the ideas/beliefs/teachings/prophecy's
are jumbled up and mis-interpreted
but lead too the groups in each cycle
repeating the similar events you seeded

The key is make sure your group hands down the plan
at the end of the cycle
too saturate the new civilization
with the ideas/beliefs/teachings/prophecy's

The goal is too have less and less intervention and direction
from you the source in each cycle
Too seed the idea/belief/teaching/prophecy
and for the similar events too be enacted and repeated
for your benefit

To in effect create a automated way of shaping civilization

The key for the people living in this world to escape this world would first be to recognize the implanted ideas/beliefs/teachings/prophecy's so that they could escape their programming.

One point I disagree with you on is when you say that 'The goal is too have less and less intervention and direction
from you the source in each cycle'. If you as the source are outlasting each cycle in this planets history, then your statement is partially true, in that you want less and less recognizable intervention, but the irony of doing less work means you have to do more work first. So, yes, you as the source would want the groups to perpetuate the program, by itself, leaving you fee to deal with the more sticky aspects, such as monitoring and suppressing people who resist or are resistant to the programming. Of course, these people are already at a disadvantage thanks to the programming making these resistant people seem uncredible and crazy. So, most of your time would be spent with dealing with the random factors that would go against your plans.

Of course, one big question is, what would you as the source, want from this civilization that you are trying to breed? To what ends are we in this hypothetical case then made to love, fight and die? Could it be that the source, in this case, feeds off of chaos and negativity, and that the reasons for its machinations with us humans is for the sole purpose of us making drama, pumping out vital emotions for them to feed off of? This source has it easy, in that all he needs to do is to spread negativity. For he feeds off of negativity, and negativity opposes positivity inherently, thus making it that much harder for the shepherded peoples to fight back with positivity

- Despite random factors if there are those similar events that you seeded in each cycle
it is a sign of successful breeding
