The leading association that advocates for reparative therapy is the National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality (NARTH). Dr. Joseph Berger, a psychiatrist who has been a member of NARTH’s “Scientific Advisory Committee,” presented comments to the House of Commons Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights regarding Bill C-279.
It amazes me that anyone takes Dr. Berger seriously anymore after his 2006 aspersion that trans youth should be bullied:
“I suggest, indeed, letting children who wish to go to school in clothes of the opposite sex – but not counseling other children to not tease them or hurt their feelings.
“On the contrary, don’t interfere, and let the other children ridicule the child who has lost that clear boundary between play-acting at home and the reality needs of the outside world. Maybe, in this way, the child will re-establish that necessary boundary.”

I challenge you to find ONE case where a true transgender accosting anyone in a restroom.
I'm trying to find a post where anyone said that would happen. From what I have seen the concern is about standard sexual predators using the lowered security to stalk, voyeur, take pics, etc. Plus discomfort from the other people in the restroom if the 'odd man out' is obviously displaying the opposite genitalia of the room they are using.

By allowing a man to go into a women's restroom with the backing of government force, a layer of security has been removed.
Previously, a correct gender person inside the restroom could have told an opposite gender person to get out. They could have called security to escort the opposite gender person out.
Previously, A husband/father waiting outside the lady's room for his wife or daughter to come out could stop an obvious male from entering the lady's room.
Now, they cannot take pre-emptive action. The opposite gender person has the law on their side, in places where liberal politicians want to show how 'compassionate' they are.
THAT IS INSANE.

Doesn't it include locker rooms, dorms, and sports teams?
