The thing is, when it comes to running for President of the United States, we’ve traditionally held the candidates to a higher standard, and subjected them to more stringent scrutiny, than the average Joe applying for a warehouse job.

Seems to me there was a 1990 court case in which Trump admitted under oath that he occasionally used the name “John Barron”. After that, the cover being blown, the name Barron went away and the name John Miller came into being.

As far as the 1991 John Miller interview goes, it’s not so much the fact that Trump actually did it as it is he chose to lie about it when asked. It’s basically Trump tooting his own horn and bragging about how he could bed down anyone whom he desires. What a macho man - he should run for President some day! LOL. If I was Trump, I think I’d layoff all the self-righteous crap about Bill Clinton’s exploits. I have a feeling he’d make Clinton look like a choir boy if they start dragging his skeletons outta the closet.

I’m curious to find out about Trump’s tax returns. There may be some bigtime fireworks, if not a bombshell or 2, in that disclosure. If he absolutely refuses to release the forms, then I believe he could be courting political suicide.

It would be so easy to go on and on and on and on... about Trump’s shady past and questionable business dealings, but I’ll spare everyone. When this election is all over, whether Trump wins or loses, I think he should write a new book and call it, “The Art of the Con”. Could be a bestseller.

I don't have a problem with him "tooting" at all. It's the lying, deception and hypocrisy that I take issue with. And now, he's denying (lying again) that it was even him, when it clearly was. He's always been a lying creep and will do whatever is necessary to get what he wants.

I would argue that he is being forced to lie. Just imagine the uproar from the media or from anti Trump protestors if he did come right out and admit it was him and that he was self promoting. It would be outrageous!!

Personally I am not a Trump fan. That being said, the attacks on this guy are laughable. I have sat here in amazement at some of the things I have seen from both sides of the isle. I mean think about this for a second, what does it say to you that Conservatives and Liberals are both attacking Trump, when it is Conservatives and Liberals who have put this once great Country into the mess it is in today? Watching these "issues" come up over and over again almost makes me want to support the guy and give him my vote. Sadly I can't do that because of some of his actual policy ideas but it is easy for me to see why people want to.

Furthermore, you say what bothers you is the lying and deception, but can show me just ONE world leader who has not lied or engaged in deception of any kind? From where I am sitting in the cheap seats, I would say that such traits are a prerequisite for such a position.

If Trump did do this, it's not a crime. He will not be taken to court to face a jury that will decide he was guilty of some criminal act.

So I see no problem with saying "apparently" he was his own hype man and that is dishonest.

The Hillary email issue is entirely different. She is accused of crimes and to say she is guilty of those crimes without letting her have a day in court is also dishonest.

Last I checked, bragging is not illegal nor precludes anyone from becoming POTUS. What some call bragging, others might call great self confidence. His bragging hasn 't gotten anyone killed.
