OKAY. I'm going with Jill Stein if I can't go with Bernie

But it's like trying to get government to vote itself a pay cut.

Realistically, it'll never happen.

But what's the option? It's got to be Judges, Congressmen and presidents that are outside the system.

All the democrats and REpublicans in congress are the same socialist criminals we've seen for the last 2 decades.

Funny enough, an actual Socialist, might be the change we need. Reign in some of these criminals.

When people stop being lazy about getting better politicians in office, it will happen.

There really are two kinds of human on this planet:

"No no no!" and "Yes yes yes."

That is the root of every problem, I'm afraid.

People will always be the cause of any type of problem in any type of government system.

Idealistic systems only work in idealistic societies.

And we are far from idealistic.

That could take another 25,000 years.

The congress would love Bernie or any type of socialist. Higher taxes means more for them!

Erm you do know that Congress' pay isn't linked to a percentage of incoming taxes right? So what you just said here made zero sense logically.

They already love themselves. We haven't seen any appreciable lowering of Taxes in I don't know how long. With Democrats and Republicans in Congress, that will never change. We need change. Anyone different and outside the two party paradigm is worth a shot. Anything is better than what we have right now.

They're fooling us because they don't call themselves socialists or Oligarchical, or Soviets or overlords, but they are. And we buy into it, thinking that anyone different is evil. Just as you think Sanders or Stein would somehow be worse than the overlords we have in office now. They've fooled you.

I keep hearing that. Been hearing it for decades at this point. And yet -- every once in a while, a bunch of clowns get together and make a great record. People even walk on the moon. From where I am standing, we could be anything. We chose to be this instead because we are lazy, stupid and boring. In general, anyway.

He said more taxes means more money for them. It's simple logic ma'am.

Yes according to Marx, predating Marx and succeeding Marx. No private ownership of the means of production does not mean no property ownership at all.

One of the big things I like about Stein is that she wants to reinstate Glass-Steagle.

When a candidate recognizes the importance of that piece of legislation, I am more than willing to listen to their ideas.

What about amplified lobbying ?

Hmmm

Scrumptious indeed.

SMH

If you thought that raising taxes and my post on voting themselves pay levels were in someway connected, then you are mistaken. Sorry if somehow that connection was evident to you.

The problem is, he said he would when he entered the race as a Democrat and he has a hard time backing down from his word.

Then he was phony from the start. There is no way he could support her if he really believes in what he is selling.

More government is not freedom.
