What about the Big3 (and free) broadcast TV and radio stations that lean heavily Left?

Can you name one Nationally-syndicated Leftist talk show host that makes millions of dollars like the Right Wing blow hards?

You first Professor.

As expected. There isn't one, let alone many like the Right have. I believe Maddow and Alan Colmes have a show, but they are not syndicated nationwide with the same market share as the Right.

They are both nationally syndicated, and make millions upon millions each year.

DENY IGNORANCE.

She's no longer on the air in most markets, if I am not mistaken. Air America went belly-up.

Not from the radio programs.

Edit:

Early in 2009 The Rachel Maddow Show was moved a one-hour timeslot at 5AM Eastern Time. It now begins with a short introduction from Rachel followed by the audio from the previous night's MSNBC broadcast of The Rachel Maddow Show. Little explanation or warning was given for this shift except for Maddow's comments that doing two shows was far too taxing.[

Now it's only a podcast of her TV show.

Are you from the Berenstain universe? We should really get in depth about this on another thread.

My apologies. I should have been more specific. I was referring to radio.

Stop changing the requisites.

First it was nationally syndicated, then you changed it to nationwide with same share as the right.

You wanted talk show host, without any other specifications, now it is radio talk show host.

Seriously.

EDIT: Thank you for clarity.

I miss Air America. They actually discussed stuff.

Right Radio is always like someone stabbing you in the chest with their finger.

That is what I was referring to and I do not want to go back and edit my post. I forgot to specify. My apologies.

Agreed. There is no Left-Wing radio shows comparable to the RIght and the TV shows cannot compete with Fox.

The Left-Wing market pretty much does not exist on the same level.

Clear Channel bought up all the towers and controls the airways. Thanks Michael Powell. But, that's a different discussion.

There just isn't a market for it, the radio is 'old people' technology.

I would say the left leaning equivalent for talk radio would be lex and terry. They are left leaning, and discuss the issues that the left are interested in.

Can you guess who the big money-makers are on Clear Channels stations? Can you also guess who owned many of the stations that syndicated Air America?

The market was shut down for the Left.

And who is lex and terry?

Yet the Big3(and free) broadcast stations (ABC, CBS, NBC) have 4x the viewership ratings compared to Fox Cable.

Not to mention their PC Left leaning TV shows during primetime.

That's just rhetoric and talking points. You believe they are Left-leaning because that is the propaganda you spread. Anything other than extreme Right Wing is considered Left. Hell, moderate and fair reporting is considered socialist-rhetoric if it doesn't follow the Right Wing agenda.

NPR talk show hosts make around 300-400k a year.

It's nothing compared to the right, but I could literally work a year with that salary and live comfortably the rest of my life.

Sure could, but it does not reconcile the difference between the market share Right Wing radio has.
