Oh I'm convinced that Gingrich is the best possible choice Trump can make for VP. Clear logical and concise in a way that I wouldnt expect from a politician.

In this video he slams Paul Ryan for not bringing the party together and then goes on to say that the people of this country are sick and tired of the failures of the last fifteen years especially with what's happening in the middle East. He also stated that weather or not Trump is truly a conservative doesn't matter because we need New ideas.

Great video

Gingrich is usually one of the smartest people in the room...

That said I don't know where he truly stands. He's like a boat going wherever the current political climate will take him and the only destination he seems to care about is power.

Interesting but I found all the points in this specific video to be what I see as accurate.

Yep, Newt Gingrich would be well suited to being Trump's VP.

stupidpumas.com...

“The idea that a congressman would be tainted by accepting money from private industry or private sources is essentially a socialist argument.” ~Newt Gingrich, arguing that it’s okay for politicians to be bought and paid for.

“Give the park police more ammo.” ~Newt Gingrich, responding to a reporter who asked what to do about the homeless a few days after the police shot a homeless man in front of the White House.

“It doesn’t matter what I do. People need to hear what I have to say. There’s no one else who can say what I can say. It doesn’t matter what I live.”
~Newt Gingrich, saying we should do as he says, regardless of what he actually does.

“She isn’t young enough or pretty enough to be the President’s wife.”
~Newt Gingrich, talking about his first wife after divorcing her.

I can't watch right now but I wouldn't be surprised if I agreed with them as well.

But that doesn't mean I trust Newt Gingrich.

Those sayings only go to show the strength of character of Newt. Something completely non-existent in the current administration.

Gingrich is an establishment shill........

As I said in another thread, if Trump picks him, he proves once again (to the complete dismissal of his supporters) that he is , in fact, an establishment bobble head......

Out of all the non-establishment esque, people he could choose from, seriously its not like he doesnt have choices.

NO. Not ever.

I used to think Rand paul, but he is acting awfully strangely as of late.

The only republican I have liked is Lindsey Graham.

The idea of Gingrich being only a heart beat away from the presidency takes the idea of Trump as president from lunacy to shear madness.

Lindsey Graham

He gives me the heebie jeebies, not sure why. I get that feeling like something is following me in the dark when I see him speak. IDGAF if he's actually gay, or that he's effeminate, it's something else.

Rand IS being weird. I have a sneaking suspicion he's been offered something.

Newt?

When did he suddenly become not a POS?

He's wanting to run in 4 years is my guess and he's trying to cover his arse in this process so he doesn't have to answer to anything down the road.

Either that or they are still hoping to prop up a 3rd party candidate and he's either it, or waiting to endorse whoever it is.

ETA- Agree on Graham. I hate his voice worse than I hate Hillary's and that's saying a lot. He talks about Trump and the media yet anytime there is a camera within a 1,000 mile radius of Washington... His face his right in front of it.

OT - He won't pick Newt. He's been in politics too long and Trump's supporters will not be pleased with an "establishment" choice. IT doesn't matter how he has talked about "The Establishment" or how he has backed away from it... He has still been in that sandbox up to his ears. Perception is reality for most folks whether it's true or not.
