Um if trump pays for the use of the song they can request all day long but he can legally still play it.

If the Stones want to make an issue out of it, they certainly can.

Nothing like a classic battle between rockers and politicians.


You can also count on other musicians joining into the fray.

Perhaps he should ask Kid Rock he's already endorsed Trump,

so has Wayne Newton but i doubt he would rock the younger crowd much

the McCain campaign pointed out that venues pay blanket licenses, entitling many songs by a variety of artists to be played at public events.

ABKCO, a music publisher, owns the rights to several Rolling Stones songs, as do Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.

So trump can use the ones the publisher uses for a fee and the stones can roll on.
