I couldn't keep it lit.

A patch between your cheek and gums is yummy!

Agreed, it just keeps nicotine in the body. When you quit smoking its best to rid the body of nicotine.

It'd be easy to lie and say everything is going well, but I've fallen off the wagon a few times.

I'm still trying, though.

Me and you both. My attitude this time around is different from all my other quit attempts, though. Usually when I've fallen off the wagon, it's completely and in one fell swoop, so to speak. This time I have at least been able to patch the dam as the leaks spring forth.

It took me six tries to quit. I finally cursed the smokes and threw them out and never bought cigs again!

Just keep giving it hell man and you will succeed. Does anyone else in your home smoke? If so, that makes it nearly impossible to kick.

Nicotine leaves the body after three to ten days. Buy a rubber and wear it on your wrist. When you feel the urge to smoke, snap your wrist. Think about all the good things that happen once you quit.

Food tastes better, your human lungs will start to clear out and you will smell fresh.

Don't replace not smoking with overeating. Also buy celery or small carrots, eat the veggies instead of smoking. You will do it!
