Love You Always

So we suffer, living worlds apart,
Listen to reason, instead of our hearts.
Waiting for a break in the weather,
Hoping for a time we'll be together.

Time... it moves so painfully slow,
Each moment taking an eternity.
The days roll by, I watch them go,
Another day that you're apart from me.

My heart aches for all the time we've lost,
Seeks comfort in words you write for me,
But I would wait for you, whatever the cost,
I would wait for you for eternity...
