Bali Police shoot dead French 'trouble-maker'

Bali Police shot dead a French national, former mixed martial artist Amokrane Sabet on Monday after he resisted arrest for several reports of misconduct. In the process of resisting arrest, the Frenchman stabbed a police officer to death. Police came to Sabet's house to follow up on reports and complaints from local people over his trouble-making behavior.

It appears this guy had a "big chip" on his shoulder, a real fruit cake and former mixed martial artist. He also overstayed his visa for 8 months, and had been living in Bali for two years and had made a lot of trouble for locals, such as refusing to pay after eating at local restaurants. Sound like this Bully got what he created for himself.

What question was posed. I didn't see a question. This is probably the first police shooting in a while that I have read about that is completely justified.

Except nobody on the left (as I am) would blame the cops for this action. As I said this case is completely justified. Even as a liberal I wish they would have shot this guy before the officer was stabbed fatally. Nice job stereotyping an entire group of people though.

There's been many. And even though I lean a bit left i also know that police killings don't just involve black people. Just as many white people are killed by police every year. The problem is use of excessive force period. Police aren't held accountable except for very few cases.
