I'm just wondering how long it will take you guys to wise up and abandon the pipe dream of political governance.

I'm not holding my breath that many will, but it should be painfully obvious at this point (which point occurs in every election cycle, albeit not quite this dramatic) that you, your politics and opinions, your families, your faiths, your lives and your country don't matter to these people. They will walk all over you and worse to get what they want.

Will you finally comprehend? Or will we be here four years from now yet again, one "side" clinging to their messianic Hope just as fervently as the other, all the while being s# on by the power elite from every direction?

Do you guys get it now? Left and Right. Libertarian and Progressive. It doesn't matter. They're going to f# you every way they can no matter what.

Enough with the "my guy can fix it" and "the problem is corruption, which you won't get with my guy". It's insanity. It's repeated every cycle by the same people, and nothing ever changes. It's literally repeated millions of times every few years.

Your country has been subverted and you're about sixty years too late in realizing it. If you plan on changing anything playing by their rules (i.e., the political "process"), you're part of the problem.

Get it?

Your acting as if this is suppose to be a fair election, while I only see 1 candidate and his supporters playing on fair terms.

Politics has turned into a cult of personality fantasy. It's an industry generating billions of dollars for corporations from media to consultants to strictly entertainment interests.

Smoke and mirrors, they will do anything they can to stop Trump.

They'd get behind Satan himself before Trump.

its purposely made so convoluted and complicated a lawyer is required to understand everything just like tax code. A country built for lawyers, by lawyers paid for by non lawyers.

This is the end of the GOP.
They have shown that they completely disregard the will of the people.

This didn't occur to you when Al Gore won the popular vote but Bush was installed as President by a judicial decree?

Gotta love those hanging chads!!!

Unfortunatly Gore would had destroyed the country worse.

Maybe with this kind of blatant rigging it truly shows the will of the people being ignored, actually criminally morally and/or ethically diverted. Will people wake up? Is it civil war time, the people against the government? Is it time to kick the tires and light the fires? Seems to me we are pretty much all being played to our collective detriment.

Cheers - Dave

I have to say US is a "Democratic Game of Thrones".

Where no armies clashes for power, yet.

Don't be so naive.

The GOP is perfectly safe no matter what they do in the presidential election or their primary. The GOP consists of senators, congressmen, mayors, and governors and that is what they care most about. They actually do better when they have a Democrat president they can blame for all the woes.

Whatever comes out of all of this, I hope it maybe sparks some sort of electoral reform debate in American politics.

The system is very badly broken as it is.

you know full well if Hillary or Cruz win, then they will simply say

'' I am here to focus on protecting the American people and moving our country forward, we will not waste time on reforming a voting process that has worked for decades ''

and with that 1 statement, the same crooked politics will return in 8yrs

Oh please, Trump stands up for Trump. He can't even play his Apprentice game fairly. He picks whomever he wants regardless who actually wins.

All of these people who pull dirty tricks against Donald Trump should be very afraid after he wins the election. Just sayin...

a) Hillary gets indicted...and socialist Bernie Sanders becomes the Democratic nominee
b) Cruz steals the GOP nomination on the 2nd/3rd Ballot...thereby splintering the Party, and completely angering GOP Primary voters, who clearly did not support him
c) Trump declares that he was, obviously, not "treated fairly" and so runs as an independent

This scenario would most likely result in no one getting to 270 and therefore picked by the House. As the Republican candidate, it would almost certainly go to Cruz in that situation.
