I think so, too - coherent is the objective....I think they need to be "sentences" or "statements" with all the parts of speech...not just a bunch of
random words that start with the letters on offer......at least for me.

Have you ever played "The Minister's Cat"?
It's an alphabet game. Clapping in unison to a steady beat - all players have to come up with an adjective starting with the next letter of the
alphabet....
The Minister's Cat is an A________ Cat
and so on.
It's quite fun in person - if you don't keep up with the cadence of the clapping, you're "out"!!
Some variations have the players all come up with adjectives from the same letter -
