The only candidate who made money from his campaign is Trump. Last I read, he made a cool 2 million so far.

Bernie's a nice guy, but his knowledge and understanding of economics is about as bright as a burnt out lightbulb. He never should have ran and I'll be glad to see him go.

I'm sure you will - he scares you that much.
.

Hell yes he does, I'm not on the dole.

Ya you are. You rely on myself and others to help provide those roads you travel on. Who pays to plow those roads in the winter? How about maintenance?

Build your own roads and quit relying on me to cover your slack.

Damn welfare queens!

I'm sorry, but I have tax liability at all three levels. I pay my fair share.

You couldn't have done it without me and others. So you do rely on "the dole", no matter how you slice it.

Actually, there are enough of us that we likely could have done it without you and others like you.

It is nearly impossible for Sanders to get the delegates he needs even if he wins every single one left. So at this point it is more of getting a seat at the table and having input on the Clinton and the DNCs agenda when in the White House. The more support he has to offer the more influence he can buy in exchange. This is the way it is suppose to work, the party is unified and the second runner up gets some influence on the administration. Unlike the GOP where whomever comes in second is going to do everything they can to ruin the candidate.

You can deny and deflect and degrade and denounce it all you like, but the FACTS indicate that the GOP/Libertarian thing Does Not Work.

It doesn't work.
Kansas, dude. Kansas.
Don't be Kansas.

Conservatism does work, when people don't fight it. Liberalism fights it tooth and nail.

Socialism never works. It eventually runs out of other people's money. Period. Stop.

Also as I recall, we established Kansas is doing fine. It's just the Dems and RINOs who are wailing and gnashing teeth.

So you are saying Hillary will be endorsing communist policy right out of the convention gates? Hahaha Trump will eat her alive.

Well the bad news is you're not going to get conservatism either. Not what you think of as conservatism anyway and not what conservatism should mean either.

RINO's are what Conservatives are now. DINO's are what Liberals are now too. At least anyone in that official capacity that is.

What does Conservative mean to you??
Because I'll tell you exactly what it is Politically Today. Imperialism.
Imperialism Through War, Corporate Power and Religious Power.

You may not be that kind of Conservative but you can bet your ass that's what the Minds behind Conservatives are about today that are running the show.

I thought Bernie's fundraising was outpacing Crooked Hillary's.

But Ms. Clinton's goes into The Clinton Fraudation and that doesn't include the $2B USD The Saud Royals pumped in to hedge their bets..

Each/every candidate (aka "Money Grabber") that gets near Washington comes out smelling like a rose, why do You think they take off the last year when it is erection time so they can run again? The most sickening thing to this "common passerby" is that the taxpayer gets to pay to fatten their personal wealth, then when it is near the end they'll throw up their hands and say "We'll get them next election cycle..." right before 'they' head to a shyster attorney and CPA to hide the a$$et$. This of course doesn't include the PAC/SuperPAC that pay for the "incidentals"

It is ALL a fraud. A real honest person wouldn't get near politics as those 2 words do NOT belong in the same sentence.

It makes sense that he is letting people go at this point... at least he is not trying to pick a VP. But he will go all the way to the convention and I think he should just to make a point to the Democratic establishment.

I'm still wondering if he will endorse Hillary though... and how his supporters would react if he did.

Whatever that means.

No one asked you to adopt anyone. You're thinking of "Obama" and the imaginary "free stuff" that you like to imagine in your imagination that people are getting.............

yawn

Are you a 7-figures guy? Are you that well off? Are you stashing your cash just across the border in a coffee can buried in the Canadian tundra?

What the hell problem do you have with people who can EASILY AFFORD IT pitching in for those who are desperate, hungry, homeless, etc. WHY would you not care about them?

I care about them, and I can't afford to do much more than donate stuff to Goodwill, which is generally stuff I got at Goodwill to begin with, or was given to me by friends and family.....

But at least I do that. When I have things that others might have a 'garage sale' to dispose of, I just give it away.
What do you do?

Yikes. I just can't hardly imagine in my imagination what it is that you imagine is going to happen to you if the uber-wealthy have to start paying taxes and kids aren't starving....what horrible, unimaginably awful thing will happen to you if young adults/late adolescents are allowed to continue their schooling until they are actually ready (knowledgeable AND mature enough) to be out in society....

that will hurt you personally, in such an unimaginably horrific way that...........

that.............

how will it hurt you again?

Imaginary free stuff? Obama phones aren't Imaginary.

The IRS has collected record taxes, again, despite all the claims to the contrary.
You just don't like people having more do you? Maybe you should really ask yourself why there's such a disparity between record taxes and benefits. Wonder how much better the poor in this country would do with current benefits if they didn't have to compete with Illegal Immigrants.

"Illegal Immigrants don't get these benefits"... BS.

young adults/late adolescents are allowed to continue their schooling until they are actually ready (knowledgeable AND mature enough) to be out in society....

What's stopping them from continuing? Stop subsidizing colleges, make them compete again and tuition will go down. Also stop letting them charge $900+ for books. Can also go to community college for a couple semesters and transfer credits to another school, which would cut down on tuition costs.

Mmmm goodwill donations..talk to me when you've volunteered at soup kitchens and shelters, since you seem to want to compare generosity for some reason..

That's an interesting thought, MrSpad. Which former Presidential candidates had influence with the winner, after he was sworn in as President?

Bernie still has an outside shot at the nomination. That being the FBI probe into her email scandal actually produces charges before the convention. Then the question would be will the Democrats put a potential felon up for the presidency? Assuming that she presses on to the convention floor. And if she does would the superdelegates defect? Would she lose the convention if it goes to a 2nd or 3rd round of voting?

I would say Bernie should do his best in the remaining primaries and hope lightning strikes. Though what would the Democrats do if she is charged after the convention?

None of that actually negates my statements:

Conservatism works when people don't fight it. Liberals fight [conservatism] tooth and nail.

Unfortunately, conservatism is a 'hands off' mentality that lets liberalism flourish, and as soon as they think they have any pull whatsoever they start to fight.

So in the end we have what you describe, RINOs and DINOs in power trying to make the most number of supporters happy.

Yes, basic telephone service (landlines) were initiated in the 80s by the Reagan administration, to help the financially disadvanatged have access to 911 and be able to assist in looking for jobs.

The program became what we know today after the Telecommunications Act was passed by Clinton and initiated universal service fund (USF) fees to pay for it.

It was. Just saw an article today; he raised about $600k more than she did - and he did it without corporate or PAC funds. Both were over 182 million.

Sanders needs 996 delegates to win the nomination. Hillary needs 206.
