I agree Hillary as the nominee is not a lock.

Any number of "events" could take her out of the running.

And yes, I still hope to see any of those campaign ending possibilities come true.

I guess Sanders doesn't believe in LIVING WAGES. If he did, he would send the volunteers away first.

Volunteers are usually always the first to go.

I may slightly disagree with what she said, but you should read Buzzy's post. She is correct.

Bernie's a nice guy, but his knowledge and understanding of economics is about as bright as a burnt out lightbulb. He never should have ran and I'll be glad to see him go.

I'm sure you will - he scares you that much.
.

Hell yes he does, I'm not on the dole.

I was making a point.

Bernie is all for spending tax payer money, but not his own. Hypocrite.

Ya you are. You rely on myself and others to help provide those roads you travel on. Who pays to plow those roads in the winter? How about maintenance?

Build your own roads and quit relying on me to cover your slack.

Damn welfare queens!

Why would he pay money out of his own pocket to fund a campaign that is nearing it's end?

Bernie knows he is not going to win the nomination. Time to start packing-up the wagon.

Isn't there a way Bernie can play the "Contested Convention" game, like Cruz? Percentage-wise, the delegate difference between Clinton and Sanders, isn't much different than between Trump and Cruz.

Not really. Bernie doesn't have the DNC establishment on his side.

Well, the GOP establishment made it known that they hated Cruz, even before Donald Trump's ascent. Our system for electing a President isn't crooked, but there is that Chicago "good ole boy cronyism" feeling to it, with both parties.

I think you missed the point, in my opinion.

Oh well.

Uh, I do everytime I buy gas. And I drive a big ass SUV that guzzles it like a longshoreman in a tavern, so believe me, I've laid ownership claims to my share of roads. Perhaps you'd have had more success with this argument if I was among the 45% no/negative net tax payers in this country? As it stands, I'm not... so, uhm, FAIL.

Whatever that means.

No one asked you to adopt anyone. You're thinking of "Obama" and the imaginary "free stuff" that you like to imagine in your imagination that people are getting.............

yawn

Are you a 7-figures guy? Are you that well off? Are you stashing your cash just across the border in a coffee can buried in the Canadian tundra?

What the hell problem do you have with people who can EASILY AFFORD IT pitching in for those who are desperate, hungry, homeless, etc. WHY would you not care about them?

I care about them, and I can't afford to do much more than donate stuff to Goodwill, which is generally stuff I got at Goodwill to begin with, or was given to me by friends and family.....

But at least I do that. When I have things that others might have a 'garage sale' to dispose of, I just give it away.
What do you do?

Yikes. I just can't hardly imagine in my imagination what it is that you imagine is going to happen to you if the uber-wealthy have to start paying taxes and kids aren't starving....what horrible, unimaginably awful thing will happen to you if young adults/late adolescents are allowed to continue their schooling until they are actually ready (knowledgeable AND mature enough) to be out in society....

that will hurt you personally, in such an unimaginably horrific way that...........

that.............

how will it hurt you again?

What was the point you were making??? How to sound like a dick and say something stupid at the same time???

Point made.

You couldn't have done it without me and others. So you do rely on "the dole", no matter how you slice it.

I know you like to read your own posts, so I'll leave you to your Communist delusion. Let me know when you wake up and realize that Roosevelt was a bigger jackass than Sanders. That will be an interesting conversation.

I would give you a star for participation, but you know, the government took all my stars, so you'll just have to wait for my next refund.

His staffers are suffering "Bern-OUT".

He fought the good fight, but socialism will just have to come from the tyrannical Hillary or Trump or congress.

Прощай Comrade Sanders!

'Course on the other hand, I've spent plenty of my life off the road system... you want them back, by all means take them back (of course I'll also be expecting to no longer have to pay that gas tax if that's a direction things go... you get what you pay for, right?)

The way I see things. . . .

Communism is where the state owns everything.
Socialism is just communism light. They own mostly everything but allow you to keep some things.

It reminds me of something Reagan once said. I'll paraphrase.

"Those that follow communism read Marx and Lenin. Those that are against communism understand Marx and Lenin."

We're heading towards communism/socialism regardless. It's almost inevitable. We are doomed to repeat the past because we really aren't smart enough. Hell, our phones are now smarter than the people that own them!

Because he's benefited from all the hard work those folks have put in and now he's just going to fire them for financial reasons?

Sounds a lot like the behavior that he claims to be against.

Out of curiosity, just exactly what is he supposed to do? There isn't going to be a nomination in his future. So is he just supposed to find a way to keep his campaign going indefinitely like some kind of jobs program?

He raised more money, just barely last I heard, than Clinton so he's not hurting for money. Month after month his campaign was breaking donation records and doesn't pander or accept money from the wealthy. I don't know if you this but campaigns are a temporary thing, he can't employ them all forever.
