Wonderful
!! when my cats have litters,i always put the maternity box in my room, close to my bed-nothing as nice as drifting off to sleep with the sounds of babykits mewling and suckling-super-cozy,especially in winter, when i have the heater on too. There's this cozy red glow in the dark, and the sound of the kittehs and the mom-cat "talking' to her new babies..heaven So can be found on earth

Thanks! Monroe (the cat) is such a weirdo. The other cats bully him, he prefers to drink FRESH water straight from the tap, he's very affectionate. I don't know who he belonged to, or how he ended up at the pound, but I just couldn't leave him there.

Love the meme! That sounds like my house too. Right now my kids are trying to talk me into a pet tarantula. Yikes! At least they like to be left alone, which is fine by me.

They are so cute!!! squeeee!!!

I have always had cats and dogs...we had one cat that was pregnant....she had the kittens in the night all we found was the outer casing in one of the bedrooms...we had little kids and didn't want them to find dead kittens...we tore the whole house apart , hubby went under the house and we checked the whole yard and talked to the neighbors.

never found any kittens????? as far as cats go, she wasn't the sharpest tool in the toolbox to begin with!

Oh yah, Harley was so lazy, I had to cut the cords myself on 2 of them! She was just laying there looking at me like: Well? Aren't you going to do something???

I LoLd so hard at that line

I got one of my cats when he fit in my hand. The girl I got him from named him Pippin after lord of the rings. I thought that was terribly lame so I renamed him Pimpin.

Little did we know he'd end up being 25lbs & we now refer to him as Fat Pimp.

Beautiful kitty mom and babies! We have 6 spoiled rotten cats ourselves and love them to pieces. I've been hankering for a kitten lately so I envy you. Enjoy them while you can!

Update!

Here they are at 20 days old. They are doing great! Up and walking around, observing their surroundings, and playing with both mom and me!

So at 4 weeks the kitten's teeth are very sharp and they are ready for some solid food.

Looks like the tuna and kitten chow is a big hit with them!

They are out and about, exploring and playing in the house, having fun.

Well here they are again. Making themselves at home on one of our couches.

They'll be going to new homes here in a week or 2. They have no fear, plenty playful, and have no issues following me into the kitchen and climbing up my leg, even though they still fit in one of my hands.

The last pic here is a repeat of when they were only a few hours old.

BTW - it's insane the amount of "Likes" you get when you post these pics on Facebook!

The pic just above this? Here he is as a new born:
