Continued from Shed 4....
So I lay that mornin' and I held her body to me, as we lay there 'neath the covers and the gaze of a sunlit sky. She slumbered still as the
Sun blazed slowly across the sky to its height and she woke then as the Sun fell, and high noon some time passed.
To me she looked up, a smile to brighten the day, her eyes full of warmth, her cheeks of good cheer. That day we lazed away, lay in bed to understand,
the comfort to be so close.
Beyond the curtain the strumming of guitar, we lay there that day, as God and Goddess of the sky. Our realm of disarray, full of wine and feasting,
just the one bottle.
Her eyes from innocence to some other ideal, as blood painted the skies, and wine left mark upon our seal. So the night came, and we went insane,
laying there in bed with wine and love for two.
