My wife's birthday is on April 12th and we first met 6 days later, which is how I can remember the date.

Night, Skid should be in the Shed infirmary. Or perhaps on our Island in the pacific where he can't harm himself unless he ventures out beyond the coral reefs. Which he would do, just to see what it is like to surf across corals.

Let us send him some bandages and ice cream.

If it's not one thing it's another. Something always happens. At least I didn't go into the thing face first. That would have sucked.

That took forever catching up and doing things around the house.

Wis, you made me laugh. Skid would probably try swimming with the sharks or something. Best to keep him off the Island and closer to home. We'll have the pixies and fearies looking after him while he heals up.
