Now, K = Karma K = (stars * 15) + ((flags + applause) * 10) / posts Example: 7619 stars * 15 = 114285 (524 flags + 92 applauses) * 10 = 6160 114285 + 6160 = 120445 120445 / 4074 posts = 29.5643103 rounded to 30 Note that here quantity can hurt you if you don't also get stars and flags.

I have 25,628 stars...................2,606 flags............227 applause

So stars * 15 = 384420

Flags plus applause * 10 = 28330

13,491 posts

So............. (384420 + 28330) / 13,491

412750 / 13491 = 30.594

Hence a Karma of 31

Now do the same maths with your stats and all will be clear

I can't really give a simple answer to your question. Not all cases are exactly the same and we shouldn't discuss specific staff actions in public threads anyway. So, I can only generalize: while there are some common procedures, staff normally act after discussing the given case in light of the relevant T&Cs and then reaching a consensus.

Main thing is, all's well that ends well.

Yes, she's sleeping now. Was up for a few hours this morning then flaked out again about an hour ago. Seems a bit better than the past two days, though. So hopefully, her brain is finding ways to adjust and manage as best it can.

Any change for the better is a good change, even if only temporary, like I said I've done some research so I'm not shooting in the dark so I know it's probably temporary. But have her seeming better is great.

Thoughts matter more than the words that we try to use to impart them. I get what you're saying and I'm grateful.

I hope so Mike, my thoughts are with you - I have been in a similar situation with too many relatives (cancer), and it is horrible, but I caanot express my feelings very well here

Spill the beans...............................What's it truly like being a mod on ATS ? Obviously no details, but apart from being a great distraction for you and having the amazing network of friends up there in the 'ivory tower' it must be frustrating as hell at times.

Especially around the religious and Israel threads

Just wanted to drop a note. I didn't wake up to a white envelope so, I suppose that's a good thing.

It is possible that I, too, have become too comfortable and perhaps skirt the T & C's occasionally (Yes, I read them LOL).

Please believe nothing I ever say is meant with harm or negativity and I would never want to tarnish this place that means so much to so many including myself.

Being a newer member of the Shed I want to apologize for anything that may have come across as disrespectful toward any of you or otherwise caused a Mod to take notice. That would never have been my intention. Of course, I carry my weighted blanket of guilt around with me and wear it as my armor.

So, what needed to be said was said by the Creators, Mods, Wise original members and I will not carry it on any further and drag it along. I just felt the need to explain myself and any words that I may have used that, although likely meant in jest or innocently typed, could have offended or hurt someone or the Shed.

So, with that, I'm off to the games

Wish us luck, please! these girls really need a win for their morale. They work so hard at maintaining their GPA (to be allowed to even play), practice, and good sportsmanship!
