As promised, a couple of panda pics from when I was volunteering at the panda reserve while on a trip a few years ago.

Okay, I have to face some real-life stuff this morning and just need to say this before I log off. Lately I have been in a Pink Floyd "The Wall" kind of place (mentally)...because I know I build my own wall when I'm having trouble coping.

Instead of reaching out, I usually go quiet and reclusive. The lyrics to the song "Outside the Wall" have meaning to me, regarding my Shed Family. Here they are:

All alone, or in two's,
The ones, who really love you....walk up and down outside the wall.
Some hand in hand, some gathered together in bands.
The bleeding hearts and the artists...make their stand.

And when they've given you their all, some stagger and fall...after all it's not easy...

Good morning Jacy! I do the same thing when things get rough. I don't want to leave the house, or even talk to anyone, even when I know that would actually help. And it seems to be getting worse as I get older. I'm trying to work around myself, but it sure isn't easy.

Super intense.......I would guess I am about 12 feet above the ground in the avatar pic. I still look back on that and wonder how the heck I got away with it. Or how I managed to commit. It's kind of scary because I have these other pictures of that same trick where I land and my front wheels are about an inch or two from the top deck. An inch or two further would have been 💀 death 💀.....

Thanks a lot! I make a point to be kind to everybody when I'm out and about.

There's a lot of rude jerkish skaters out there that can be pretty mean, especially to newcomers. That's always bugged me. I try to be as respectful as possible out there.

It is awesome inspiring the little ones too! If I could become a skateboard instructor that would be a dream come true. Skateboarding can be a total life changer for the better since its a healthy outlet and a way to express yourself.

There's also a ton of great people who love skating. Generally the ones who have a bit of life experience under there belt.
