Thanks friend, I have never been to any of those. Just to a chicken farm.. This week I will ask all about hens and roosters when I pick up the blue eggs!

How much are they selling for? People have been telling me I'm cheap, but I can't eat them all, and I just want to pay for feed. I sell for 1.00 a dozen and 3.00 for duck eggs.

Sorry about the details, please forgive. Yes, mine are now pets and I sell the eggs. I'm making hubby put up a huge area, with 5 foot fencing for them to roam, and so the ducks can help in the garden.

Around here today would have been a great day to sleep in. Rainy and chilly.

I'm glad yours are pets. It must be so cool having them. They would make me smile all the time.

What??? I pay $3.50 to $4.50 per dozen. Depending how big the eggs are. I like the smaller blue eggs

Right now, I only have 5 layers, 2) normal size brown, and 2) little white eggs. (1 setting)

But once these new babies get going? LOL Many sizes and colors, and eggs coming out me ears. NO way I could eat them.

And maybe I get to help someone that needs it too. So, yeah, 1.00.

6 degrees this morning (Celsius!) heheeee... the mornings are getting lovely, so lovely that I didn't want to crawl out of bed haha. Had to though, my son had an accident and I have to leave for work in just over an hour. Woe! (The 27th of this month is my last day! HEHEHEHEEHEEEEEE! So excited!)

I thought so too! reminds me of my imaginary world of Fandriel.... that there would be the descent of the second moon, through the rising of the morning sun

Now that I think about it, in my writings, I've only ever described the sunset, not the sunrise...

Long gone times of a short lived happiness blinked through her mind faster than she could focus on and she sighed softly to herself, gazing out of the window. First moonrise had always been her favourite time of day; the colours of the setting sun entwined with the rainbow of the Aethya, the luminescence of the rising moon shining bright throughout the maelstrom in the sky. It was gorgeous.

Believe it or not a chicken's egg is porous enough to allow the sperm through.
