Didn't read.

Not surprised.

Well, Annee didn't read it either! lol!

Don't be surprised, Phage. An abortion bill from OK is not on my reading list.

I am content to let others discuss the fine print.

I did read it.

Just had to find one that would open with Chromebook.

It comes back to personal responsibility, doesn't it?

Yes, woman choosing to have abortion because she's not ready to take care of a kid.

Most responsible thing a woman can do.

You know I think that's most seriously messed up, right?

Why? It's completely honest.

Name one unselfish reason to bring a child into this world.

Perpetuation of the species is unselfish. Nature has tricked us into doing it by making it pleasurable. Underneath the facade of our perceived intelligence and society, we are just animals. Having kids is why people exist today instead of dying off in the Ice Age. Talk about an inconvenient time to have kids. I wonder how many abortions happened back then.

Killing a baby is selfish.

When is the cut off date for you?

I think NOT getting knocked up, in the first place, would take care of all reasons for and against abortions.

Probably not many.
But I'm pretty sure a lot of children died of starvation and disease.

So a 13 year old has sex on the pill and uses a condom. Condom breaks. 13 year old gets pregnant as the pill is not 100%.

So that 13 year old should now have to give birth to a child and look after it?

How many 13 year olds do you know that are mature enough to take care of themselves, let alone a baby?

A fetus is not a baby.

ASAP would be my recommendation. It is not my business to tell someone else their business.

Lol, yeah, she does. 13? Really?

Seems like a baby would be the least of her problems.

Over 7 billion people on earth. The perpetuating the species argument doesn't hold up.

You still have not given one unselfish reason to have a child.

And that, folks, is why the anti abortion crowd is a joke.

Punishing a child for something that wasn't her fault, but the fault of something that was supposed to prevent her getting pregnant in the first place.

I guess if a 13 year old was raped they should keep the child too?

"Want to feel the fetus kick?" said no pregnant woman ever.

ASAP is the next best thing.

Yes and as humans, we should know better.

Depends, raped by space aliens?

What if she wants to keep it? You'd make her get an abortion?

What if.....she was 27?

Funny. Another human being.

That's not what I was asking though, was it?

A friend and his wife, adopted a chinese down syndrome baby. Cute kid.
His name is Sonny and his nickname is Knuckles, coz he likes the bro punch.

My wife and I adopt rescues, we have 3. no kids but my wife sponsors a child in africa.

If this passes and when the death rate for 'back alley abortions' goes up in Oklahoma maybe they can ask forgiveness from whatever God they pray to.

Any woman who elects these closehanger abortions (illegal abortions) and end up dying....... no pity from me. The same with those who travel to third world countries to have cosmetic surgery and it ends in disaster..... no pity...

What ARE you saying?

Birth control is not 100% effective 100% of the time?

I wish I had the energy to look for the pregnancy/abortion stats.

PP does 30% of all abortions at 330,000 a yr so times 3 equals about 1 mil a yr.

How many women of fertile age having sex?
How many get pregnant?
How many are keeping the baby?

Later I'll look it up, somehow.
