So, abstinence is the answer.
Good theory. Doesn't seem to work in the real world.
Or did people not get pregnant unintentionally when abortion was a crime?

not exactly, the supreme court will still hear the case, and well, it will only divert back to the lower court decision if they return a tied vote, and even then they could allow it to be reheard again later once the empty seat is filled. then again, they could just do what they seem to be doing with the little sisters case, just ask the opposing parties to come up with suggestions for a suitable compromise, and well delay because they don't want to hand down a tied vote.

50 ways to not introduce the sperm and egg. I'm sure people had that figured out a long time ago.

Abstinence is only 1 way or would you like a link?

People had home style abortion figured out almost as soon as they had sex figured out.

Right.
And they all worked perfectly when abortion was a crime.

abstinance is the only method that is 100% effective. are you suggesting that all the married women out there that don't want babies at this point in their lives just refuse their husbands sexual advances?

She might actually lose a toe if she's diabetic and forced to give birth to a child she can't take care of.

Where'd you get your medical degree, again?

But seriously, RU-486 works too.

What's the difference between RU-486 and having a abortion, again?

In 2000, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved RU 486. It is a safe, non-surgical way for women to terminate an unintended pregnancy. RU 486 is also known as mifepristone. It works within the first nine weeks of a pregnancy. Its development represents a huge step forward for women's reproductive health.

I imagine the law would revoke the doctor's liscense for prescribing it also.

ya, then we can have all the religious folks griping about the higher divorce rate and poor children in single parent homes, who will then make legislation to ban divorces.
