As the navy rain flooded our base 6, new forms of the dark blue water set in. General Sims was eager to lift the new bird and get out of dodge.
Life in the forces was a challenge for General Sims. During the six year war Sims had been shot thru the neck back and lungs. The Tripods or Doctors fully froze Sims body for 6 months. During the freeze the Tripods repaired all the wounds.

It's been 2 years since Sims awoke. Morning time he feels great pain. Mid afternoon most pain subsides.

The next 3 days were intense. Many new landings and takeoffs were taking place on base 6.

On this particular day a fear came into Sims head as a unknown ship entered base 6.

"Everyone to post now" ordered Sims. The ship landed. Sims and his forces had never seen such a beast. Red guns pointed all around. Blue and white light lasers that could take out a whole town.

As the ship landed another was in sight. This other ship was a tanker the size of Tupta or Manhattan. Sims was on high alert.

The first ship opened its doors. Humans appeared. The humans said "drop all your weapons now". "We are here to drain your vast oil supplies". "Our planet Earth has been dry of oil for 10 years, people cannot travel we have to work near our homes. We walk or take a bike to work. We cannot supply electrification without oil. We humans wrecked our Earth and now we are here to wreck your planet too"...the end
