Dear Senator Bernie Sanders,

I have heard many complaints from other unbound Delegates to our National Convention in Philadelphia (my hometown), about getting harassing emails, Facebook postings and phone calls, even to one woman at 10:30 at night, from some of your supporters demanding that we support you. We would expect this type of bullying tactics from Trump supporters. Roger Stone threatened on April 5th- he will send angry Trump supporters to the hotel rooms (Cleveland) of any delegates who betrays Donald. Do you have a similar Plan?

I have seen you on TV stating (demanding to many of your supporters) that Superdelegates should vote for the candidate that won their state. Really? Where is that in the National Delegate Plan that former Vermont Governor Howard Dean must vote for you? Congressman Raul Grijalva, a supporter of yours, who represents the 3rd district in Arizona, a state that voted 58% for Clinton and Grijalva's own district voted 61.7% for Clinton has not switched. Where is your letter to Congressman Grijalva, instructing him to shift his support to Clinton? Look in the mirror- you'll see a political hypocrite! From what I hear, Congressman Grijalva, when asked if he is shifting his support to Clinton, his response- drop dead. That is his right- he is a Congressman, thus a delegate.
California Superdelegate Writes Open Letter to Bernie Sanders: 'Stop the Harassing Phone Calls'

I thought Sanders was the last sane candidate of the bunch. I don't think so anymore.

It's fascinating to me to see a leader in the Democratic party bringing up a parallel between Trump and Sanders and the incivility of their supporters. It's as if a spirit of barbarism has overtaken America on both sides of the political spectrum.

Does anyone else find that a little frightening?

How do you know when you've lost touch with reality? How do you know when you've gone totally insane? I've always believed that if and when those things happen, you wouldn't have any way of knowing because you lose the capability to know as a consequence of those things happening.

It isn't like anyone the least bit involved in politics doesn't understand the differences between Bernie and Hilary. Phone calls are just going to piss people off in my opinion.

The way you change this farce is to eliminate 'super delegates' going forward. The idea of 'super delegates' is driving people away from the main stream parties.

Every Primary Season we go through the same BS, everyone complains about the Delegate system and it is forgotten shortly thereafter.

The 2 Party System is a 1 Party system, it is killing what was once a Great Country.

How do we confirm this harassment is not from Hillary supporters or even hired guns?

Bernie is just another politician trying to get into a position of power.

These sad wankers can all go to hell in a handbasket. My home phone will be ringing off it's hook for the next few months with all kinds of political junk. They want to whine about one phone call from a party they are affiliated with? Try dealing with the phone ringing non-stop with total and complete nonsense.

I have no sympathy for anyone who is affiliated with either the Dem's or the Repub's, or anyone who blindly follows either party nor can I care that they get one phone call they don't like once in a while.

Sorry, gotta go and hang up on some politicale a-hole who is calling me, again.

Pretty sure I just did. They put themselves in the firing line, do not complain when getting shot at.

I'm NOT part of this political process as it's a complete farce, so why do I have to deal with recorded crap from every candidate imaginable, for months, but these wankers are upset about one phone call?

Perhaps they are just better than all us peons who have to deal with crap, day in and day out, in our lives, all because these elite asses screw us at every opportunity, yet I'm supposed to feel sympathy for them over a damned phone call?

So...

Because the supporters are going ape, justly if I am understanding super delegates correctly, Bernie must be responsible?

Does the author of the letter think so little of the electorate? Oh... Wait...

Besides attacking Bernie because he's a socialist the opposition has nothing on him so every now and then you'll nonsense like this as an attack. Meanwhile, Trump opens his mouth and his supporters defend him tooth and nail.

Politics, oh what a sea of ignorance it is!

why not?

Trump supporters do anything and it's a reflection on The Donald.

No, Trump and his supporters have a symbiotic relationship where both are judged equally. Now granted, obviously not every supporters is a bad apple.

Bernie supporters are plenty fanatical if not more so than Trump supporters. At least Bernie is a likable human being unlike Trump.

Bernie supporters are fanatical because he's so likable, and because they believe in his vision for the future.

Trump on the other hand... *shrug*. Maybe it's the same thing? (Though he's not likeable.) Maybe they're just insane. Maybe they really really like walls. Maybe they think that somehow the Drumpf will be a more economically competent president than the previous ones. (And to be fair, he has said he's against the US's absurdly stupid trade deals.)

I am afraid we are going to be seeing more of this kind of post:

Correct The Record will invest more than $1 million into Barrier Breakers 2016 activities, including the more than tripling of its digital operation to engage in online messaging both for Secretary Clinton and to push back against attackers on social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, and Instagram.

more than tripling of its digital operation

So they admit they have already had an on going astroturfing program!

Interesting!

Wouldn't put so much blame there on Sanders himself but rather that even if Sanders campaigners(not that it isn't uncalled for) annoyed Hillary's Super delegates or not, they are going to claim there's an issue.

More on that;

In a Reddit comments thread about CTR’s new project, Reddit user and Sanders supporter /u/workythehand, gave other commenters advice on how to identify and engage with one of David Brock’s paid commenters:

The best tactic to use against “professionals” is to simply downvote and move on. The more you argue with them, the more likely people will read the astroturfer’s posts.

Keep your eyes out for very young accounts, repetition of phrasing and syntax (the same “Sanders only diagnoses the problem…” talking points, for instance) in every post, and rapid fire posting – 10+ comments in the span of a few minutes is a good indicator.

Source

Goes on to explain, whether someone supports Sanders or not, this is how the paid sector operates and how to counter them.

My take on this is the super delegates do not care what us peasants want, they only wish to appease the big interests that give them big money.

Sometimes I feel like the peasants need to start picking up pitchforks in order to bring down the oligarchy.
