Edit - It's being suggested that he has been fighting Flu for the last 3 weeks and TMZ is the only source of the story so far. But I'm guessing Sky wouldn't be reporting on this if it isn't likely to have some substance.

Edit - Foreign media agencies are advising that his publicist has confirmed his demise.

Just got a txt from a friend saying pitchfork reported it.

Lame. I was never really a fan until I saw his super bowl performance about 10 years ago. Man that was awesome. I have since dove into quite a bit of his stuff.

OMG my wife just had a mini-meltdown, Prince was here in Perth, Western Australia only 3 or so weeks ago and she and a friend went and saw his show. When I saw this thread I told her and now she is in tears talking to her friend on the phone.

Another great one gone. They simply don't make true musicians like him anymore... sing, dance, play they hell out of a guitar, and unique style. Some how this guy 5 foot guy in heels, ruffled shirts, and make up could make women jump out of their panties.

I paid big bucks to see him a couple of years ago here in Chicago. Glad I had the chance to see him perform one last time.

This sorta happened to me with Mitch Headberg.... I saw him live. Then the following week Howard Stern is repoting him dead... Legends😔
