Belfast Northern Ireland, famous for explosions and family members being shot.

On a brighter note (Or not) the Titanic, and big cranes. And arguably the best footballer of all time

Any other Belfasters here? Just skipped through

I'm from Michigan. We're known for the Great Lakes, Detroit, being shaped like a mitten, Motown music and we used to be known for the auto industry. Sadly I don't believe we're known as the motor city anymore and if we are its just because of nostalgia.
Things people don't know is we have lots of mining. There's salt mines under Detroit, copper mines in the upper peninsula and limestone mines in Alpena and Rogers City. There's probably more I don't kid about. The Mackinac bridge is supposed to be the longest suspension bridge in the world at 5 miles in length.
Michiganders say pop too.

And again, we say pop.

I've been to Rio & Salvador in Brazil. The whole country is beautiful IMHO and I would love to visit again but I'm deterred from doing so because of all the violent videos I see on liveleak that come from Brazil. Just saying.

Loads of people live around the Great Lakes. Everyone else is envious of Lake Michigan. Saying "Hi" from the polluted Lake Ontario area.

And the recently discovered nazi sub is also in Lake Ontario. I love Lake Mi and see it every day but I do believe Lake Superior is far superior.
and hello to you.

Tn.... And because the fancier things of the state have already been mentioned, and I'm a foodie, I'm gonna say fried Oreos- because I had never had one till moving here and they are like crack! Also, chocolate gravy, but that's not my thing.
