My buddy's property we hunt out in Haskell looks under the gun for a possible tornado warned cell... Hoping we don't have a huge mess of cleanup to do this weekend...

Been a flop thus far for the chasers, some rotation on the cells and some funnels but nothing dropped. Good for home owners but not good for viewing, saw a beautiful looking cell though

That gives me time to let my friend's dog out. But I don't like that it will be dark out. Makes it hard to spot tornadoes!

I plan to keep sipping suds now that all our plans are in place for sheltering if need be, while my wife forces me to watch dance mom's in MY bar...

Honestly though I'll keep an eye on the thread - clouds, humidity, and lots of wind picking up...

We're pretty well out of it up here. Morning storms cooled us off enough that we couldn't heat back up again; atmosphere is too stable for nastiness. We'll get a rain event overnight. Maybe as much as 3", but that's OK. We had enough excitement with this morning's weather. The rest of you stay safe!

Tornado warning for just west of Sherman, Tx! That is north of the Dallas/Ft Worth area.

Two tornado warnings in the Oklahoma City area, too.

Hang on, guys!! It's coming...

ETA: This tornado by Sherman is actually in Gainesville at the I-35 and hwy 82 line.

Thanks, TechniX. Just wanted to get it out ASAP.

Beautiful lightning right now. That's one good thing about being on the top floor. The view is incredible!!

Can't believe I am so late here. TechniXcality, just to say you are so appreciated here regardless of the rare person who always pops in to debunk.

Thank you for keeping us aware.

Rain coming in now in SW arlington, lots of lightning and the wind is really starting to howl outside.

Almost errily calm other than the few drops here and there and flashes of lightning.

I bet it's Bout to slam here - that radar looks like a nasty line of wind in front of the squall...

I was watching the intense lightning north and west of me, assuming that was the severe storm passing Tioga. But not much here right now. It seems to have weakened some in my area. Plano will be getting the winds, I think.

You might be getting the winds, though.

You are absolutely welcome, though today was not as intense as the models were showing because the line went linear quicker, this whole week is under the gun for more severe weather, so I will do my best to keep you up to date.. Thank you for your kind words.
