I'm sorry but this looks like a Hindu faith to me.

Your point?

is the INFINITE CONTRACTION based more on faith or logic?

It's based on a scientific hypothesis.

ETA: you keep looking at just the contraction. The contraction is what comes before and after the Big Bang. The Big Bang is also what comes before and after the great contraction.

Here. I'll break it down for you.

Big Bang
Great expansion
Great contraction
Big bang
Great expansion
Great contraction
Big bang
Great expansion
Great contraction
Big Bang
Great expansion
Great contraction

Ad infinitum.

In the case of astrophysics, it's pretty much speculation but what is illogical about it?

But it's not the only logical conclusion. Its your opinion. Many of the most brilliant minds would also disagree with your opinion. Rational and logical scientists who don't assign agency when there's no solid evidence of an agency.

I forgot to add.

If you ask what came before the first Big Bang, great contraction, great expansion the answer is the one before it because it's an INFINITY LOOP. There would be no beginning and no end.

Beyond natural means...
That which requires supernatural means...

Which as we constantly have to tell you, has NOTHING to do with science.

Who says it requires supernatural means?

That's because science can't provide the answer...
That must mean God did it...

There is no infinite loop anyway with the space growing between everything and cooling...
It will all fade to black...

Correct

That must mean God did it...
A logical fallacy. A very popular one.

Science can't prove God does or doesn't exist (as science only works with the observable), therefore the answer is I don't know.

ETA: If you REALLY want to go down that route. Science can't prove the spaghetti monster didn't do it either.

Just because we don't have the answer doesn't mean God did it at all. That's a leap of faith. Science didn't know how weather worked a few hundred years ago did that mean God did it. No the only thing it means is that we don't know.

He did. Obviously. Prove he didn't.

That is God of the Gaps theory right there.

Not actually a theory.
Depending on your point of view it is either fact or not testable.

Prove you are right. I've asked you to prove God exists. Do that and you'll prove you are right.

Even if you were right it would still be a logical fallacy.
The absence of an definitive answer does not mean an unproveable postulate is valid.

That's a very valid point. We've been going around in circles for so long I got dizzy, threw up over the side and forgot I was on a sinking ship.

That's me done with this rediculous thread. You can't prove God did it anymore than you can prove white mice did it.
