all these stories cropping up, made me think the kind of pull and corruption, the money and favors that might have been involed to reduce their sentences to 12 years max, one of them didnt see any jail time at all.

remeber a few weeks ago the college student murderer who got off after 6a few years because the California governor at the time (Arnold) secretly pardoned or reduced the sentence.

But don't worry, they're not going to try and take your guns.
Not until the power goes out and they're the only ones with a steady source of food/water/communication, anyway.



The good news is that when things go sideways on a large scale, they won't have the police to citizen ratio they had there. Maybe that's why they keep pushing more and more funding for police- more thugs on foot to blindly follow orders.
Active military wouldn't be nearly as likely to take the order to go around disarming citizens, and executing anyone who disobeyed. Need the thugs in blue for that.
