The New York State primary elections are counting ballots.

Looks like Trump and Hillary have big leads early on.

CNN has a ticker going

Sanders needs as many delegates as possible.

Cruz is not doing well.

Is this primary a turning point for the leading candidates?

Trump 70%

Hillary 62%

Many stations are calling winners with 12% in.

They've already called it for Trump in NY. They are just now waiting to see how many delegates he will gain from the win.

Kasich is in second and Cruz is in a distant 3rd.

As for Hillary and Sanders... Would it really matter if he actually did sweep it? She'll take NY as well. But it wouldn't matter if she didn't.

In the New York exit polls, 77% of ALL voters said that they are tired of the status-quo (Obama?) and want REAL CHANGE. If that's the case why did so many vote for Hillary? I get the impression that the only real change will be having a female President. Maybe that's what the Democrat voters mean by "real change"?

Trump speaking now. I just LOVE how he finds a way to say something negative about the press every time he's at the microphone. Luv it!

Oh..and this is a biggie.. Donald is referring to Ted Cruz as "Senator Cruz"... not "Lying Ted". That's more like it!! The personal degrading always made me cringe. Trump didn't need to use those adolescent tactics.

LOL

Clinton by 20 percentage points.

Bernie's getting schellacked.

So much for his 'home' state.

Good for Trump, not a real surprise.

Hillary v Bernie?

If Bernie had won, Hillary would have gotten the delegates anyway. Just my opinion.

Way to go Mr. Trump!!!

(Trump sounds more and more presidential recently.)

I guess Cruz's "New York Values" sunk him good. lol
... or, it just shows once again that Cruz fails when real people are voting, and he is not buying delegates.

Hillary must have been an extraordinarily good and effective New York Senator. Bernie was born in New York, speaks like a New Yorker, and is getting his arse handed to him by New York residents. That's amazing to me.

Yes indeed! That's why I pointed out a few posts above this one that Donald is now referring to Ted Cruz as "Senator Cruz", instead of the adolescent disrespectful name of "Lyin Ted". I'm so glad to see him mature before our very eyes! I voted for Trump, but now feel even more comfortable with that vote.

Trump:

The people aren't going to stand for it. It's a crooked system. It's a system that's rigged.

The Democrat split does not make sense when compared to predictions. I know polls and predictions are never science, but... I agree with the couple of other threads suspecting something funky going on there. It should have been much closer.

It seems to be mostly Democrats having the issues with deleted and switched registrations. What are the chances of that? I guess we need to wait for more information.
