Hello ATS,

Watch the video in the link provided: www.iflscience.com...

3 Presidents, 1841-1849 died of unusual complications. Now researchers believe they've determined the root cause. A most interesting theory.

I am curious as to the other civilian deaths that may corroborate this theory in the same area, during the same decade.

What an impact on America's path heading straight into Pre Civil War America!

I am not certain who put the sewer trap at the top of a hill, running downstream to the spring source, but check this article out: www.plumbingsupply.com...

Make sure to read the entire article!

I'm off to research your question as to who built or commissioned the sewer trap.

wow, pipes made from drilled out logs in 1833, perhaps the sap in the tree trunks may be the source of the evil doers doing.

Andrew Jackson, 1833, had the spring source changed, but the Architects of DC and subsequent Mayor(s) would have commissioned the DC Sewerage.

French and German scientists wrote about the dangers of Typhoid Fever and sources during the mid 1800s. Apparently Typhoid Fever bacteria, salmonella typhus, was a major sanitation issue worldwide for roughly 175 years.

Crazy that Jackson's desire to have ample spring water in 1833 in part led to killing 3 Presidents, if the theory is accurate!
