See that right there is the reason PC gaming will never be more popular than console gaming. No one wants to deal with crap like that. Oh I need to upgrade this or install that or have a higher thingamajig!!! How about this, get a video game disc, insert it into the console, and play the damn game!

Funny you said that cuz all of your sources are giving their OPINIONS about PC gaming. None of it is actually based on real data and none of it is valid. Besides we're talking about DOOM here, take your PC minority race somewhere else.

Dude they won't.
They might do it for the next game but they'll chop it up into a bunch of DLC to sell later after release.
Similar to what Bungie did with Destiny.

And yeah upgrading PC rigs can be a costly pain, but once you do it is worth every penny.
My issue with consoles at least prior to next gen, was the issue of locked frame rates among other performance related issues.

Could not stand playing some games at a constant 30fps.

Oh nice ok. Well I still wont buy it after reading this post, yet. Hopefully they will make it how Doom should be when the final version comes out.

My computer is 4 years old so it's probably time for an upgrade. I just prefer keyboard and mouse for controls. That and faster load/save times. I have my ps4 and would love to get and xbone some day,

I've always said for years that consoles are for kids, and for those who cannot afford a gaming computer.

Accuracy is infinitely better with mouse and keyboard on PC vs. joystick controllers. Graphics are infinitely better on PC than on consoles. Need better performance on PC? Easily upgrade a part. Need better performance on a console? Too bad. You're either stuck with what you have, or you'll have to wait for the next console and then be limited by its capabilities as well.

It doesn't matter who's opinions mean what. PC gaming has been making a come-back. And it's been evidenced many times in numerous articles. Whether PC gaming has surpassed console gaming is irrelevant. PC gamers are most-certainly not a minority, and PC gaming isn't going anywhere in the foreseeable future.

1st) - It will have a campaign - all DOOMs from 1 have had co-ops at least.
2nd) - Remember , this is now a Bethesda title (they own IDsoftware , the original makers of DOOM)
3rd) Due to the Beth ownership we all knew the recommended equipment would be high.

I was extremely disappointed by the beta. They ripped off halos armour customization, and looks.i was fumeing after i played the first round. Why would ID even think that would be the doom game we have been waiting for. I played 3 rounds and deleted it. Then i left ID and Beth. some "feedback" regarding it. Garbage...pure and utter garbage.
It litterally feels like halo with a hell.
Really hoping the single player is outstanding. I could careless about MP when it comes to DOOM. I want terrifying gameplay, not Halo armours!

I'm not really into online play atm. I prefer single player, 50+ hours.
