I can't think of anyone in my life who is doing better now than they were 10 years ago. Not a single one.

Hi. Now you've met me.

10 years ago I made 46k a year and struggled with five children. Last year I made 132k and now have a house, three cars, a motorcycle a 401k worth mentioning and a lot of other things not worth mentioning. I'm also healthier than 10 years ago.

BTW, I'm 38.

The slow grind of globalism is levelling the playing field and equalizing incomes across the globe.

It is amusing how brainwashed the American populace is regarding what is happening. Deregulation and fascist capitalism are the cause of most of these issues.

Socialism has been made a dirty word in the good ol USA yet countries that have a stronger social safety net like Canada, the Scandinavian countries such as Finland and Denmark have a much more equal income distribution. Of course it's not perfect, which it shouldn't be, as hard work should always get you ahead, so to speak.

But the problem stems from pure capitalism where the greater good gets ignored too much. Free or reasonable priced education hasn't harmed these Countries

I don't consider your post on a forum as 'met'

When I said met I meant someone in your life that you know, and knew 10 years ago.

Sorry but having one person on the net type up some numbers and saying "Hi" is not "met" to me. Also the fact that you so happily come and claim your financial success now vs 10 years ago to prove a point speaks to how rare it is in my view.

Oh yeah = so whats so different about the 60s teenagers rebellions, the 70s, 80s and 90s kids

In fact Nothing will change these young kids are pretty stupid these days and I dont listen nor trust a dam word they say - not when im 35 and been through far more experience than some dickhead 20 year old who thinks they know it all

hence history repeating itself

Not to say I didn't think my generation when i was 18 in the 90s were going to revolt...but yeah bunch of bull#

I just wish ed they would shut up and listen to how silly they sound...I refuse to have ANYTHING dictated to me from a 20 something idiot.

In other words to the kids im talking about - SHUT THE F UP - i say it because your parents clearly never said it to you, nor you were ever disciplined correctly and are a little prick on this planet that doesnt deserve oxygen since they feel entitled to EVERYTHING....ALL THE TIME.
