What Bernie is likely to end up doing is deluding so many democratic voters that he can win a national election, and when he loses to Hillary disappoint his followers they won’t then vote and the GOP will slide on into more power

Thanks Bernie for being a Ralph Nadir on Steroids

Far from naïve when you look at political reality not pie in the sky wishful thinking

Nice try, but I'm not a Bernie supporter.

Your entire premise makes no sense though. The only fact based thing there is right now is polling and Hillary isn't very well liked, by anyone with an internet connection and an independent thought process. What you're doing is lecturing everyone on "facts" you pulled out of your ass, in other words, your opinion.

The point is the people will be afraid to give a radical like Bernie so much power.

What makes old Bernie's ideas so radicalized ? Most seem doable and reasonable. Because they are different ? Good for this country to have difference every now and then . I think Bernie for 4 would be much better than Obama for 8. And Hillary , sorry she is so full of herself and a hard-liner , her 4 years would be a lot worse than Obama for 8.

I'm not claiming any facts just political observations.

I could be wrong but I doubt it.

The GOP and establishment would go after Bernie hard if he got the nomination and those polls will change radically.

They’ll frighten people claiming how high Bernie will raise their taxes.

Abandon Israel and the national defense...etc.

They'll make Bernie into Vladamir Lenin before its over

A 74 year old Jewish socialist would get a rough time.

Bernie won’t have many coattails even if he did run because he never, unlike Hillary, supports other democrats

When the democrats just like the GOP nominate radicals, Goldwater in 64 and McGovern in 68 they both went down in flames with two of the worst loses in history.

Bernie’s ideas are just too radical for the country, imo.

I would love it if Bernie could win but its too risky. Bernie will end up electing more GOP candidates to power.

I wish I was wrong.

I'm voting for the candidate that will tax me the least and infringe on my freedoms the least.

You supported Bush II right?

The polls don't mean much? Then what are you basing your op on? Your political opinion? Polls and presidential elections go together like peanut butter and jelly. We even know the winners of a primary before the votes are counted thanks to polls.

I'll give you that internet polls suck but that's it. But again, what are you basing your OP on because the polls have consistently showed Bernie defeating the GOP. He wins. Trump loses to either or. This is has been nothing but consistent so throwing polls out the window as if they're nothing is ignorant.

he polls show people like democrats more than republicans but why do they have both houses of congress, and most of the governors.

As to why ?? because Dems have been running as Republican lite for a sec , the voter Dem don't reward them so they sat on their votes like they did in 06 and true Reps don't respect them, when you have true progressives they win.

You can't ignore the fact that Bernie resonates with a lot of voters, not just young people. A person must have a vision and the fortitude to make change. Sure, Bernie will have an uphill battle, but I would rather vote for someone who is sincere, not a millionaire or billionaire and has the average citizen's needs in mind. Most people can relate to Bernie, he's one of them.

These rich candidates are running for power. Ask yourself, why would anyone want the everyday stress of leading a country when you're sitting on a million or billion dollar nest egg? When people have enough money to lead the easy life, the next thing people crave is power.

Obama probably got elected in 2008 because of the financial crash was so severe.

Maybe if things were like that the people could vote in a radical

Again... if people were afraid of that, why are the polls reflecting the exact opposite of that?

electionbettingodds.com...

Polls are not to be trusted, they are designed to support whatever agenda the pollsters are being paid to prop-up.

If you look at the accuracy of the book makers, you will find them much more helpful.

I’m misunderstood. If I were God I would make Bernie president and jail Hillary Clinton.

Just like Noam Chomsky, who said if he lived in a swing state he’d vote for Hillary…over the inhuman GOP candidates.

Its being practical not naïve and cynical where you don’t believe in the reality of lesser of two evils, or in this case 3 evils.

Until your social security is cut, or your food stamps are cut or you’re thrown off health care or you lose your job because of cuts in this or that.

It’s about being able to get the best possible from the worse, that’s all I'm saying because Bernie right now I believe just cant win....I am not a supporter of Hillary Clinton other than from the above perspective
