Bernie Sanders Released His 2014 Taxes

Bernie Sanders has released his taxes as promised in last night's debate and they do appear very boring. PDF documents here.

The Vermont senator’s tax form, which he says was filed by his wife, Jane, showed an income of $205,271. The majority of the income came from Sanders’ $174,000 Senate salary and the Social Security benefits that both he and his wife receive. He owed $27,653 in federal taxes but had $31,825 withheld and received a $4,172 return.

Why do we expect this from candidates?

I don't care about their tax burden or how much they make. It is irrelevant to their candidacy.
