In recent weeks, I've been experiencing weird things...

But the other day, I saw a glitch. I now believe we are living in a VR world. So I was sitting there, staring out the window... suddenly, a small area of the scene outside the window blurred and became pixelated. The other part of the scene quickly stretched and filled the gap. It was weird, I had to think about it.

-- Did that really just happened? --

It did, I wasn't sleeping or dreaming...

Anyways, anyone else experienced glitches?

This may seem like a ridiculous question, but are you diabetic or "pre-diabetic"?

It was not a ridiculous question.

Ok. Reason I ask is because I know a few people that are severe diabetics and they have discussed similar problems. Diabetes can play hell with your eyes if you do not keep it under control.

ETA: They told me that they usually experience problems when the area they are looking at has a pattern. Such as white tile bathroom floors or bricks.

I experienced something similar a few days ago, dismissed it as a tear though since it disappeared in a blink...

¯_(ツ)_/¯

If it happens again I would see a doctor. There is a condition called "Visual Snow" that you may want to be checked for and if it continues and the eye doctor can't help, see a neurologist.

The people I have talked to do not take care of themselves and one is losing their eyesight to diabetes.

The screen you were looking through messed with the way your brain processed what your eyes were seeing...

That would be nuts, it was last week but I can't say which day for sure. My eyes have played tricks before (ocular migranes and such) so I didn't freak out. It looked just like you described though, in the bottom left of my vision for a split second.

edit: Your title on this thread was exactly what I thought when I saw it as well
