I am from the U.S., too. Lived in Asia for the past 5 years (Phils and China).

My wife says that is a beautiful area in Luzon with 100 islands and many fish.

Tama! In a word, the heat is relentless. It's either hot or hotter. I am outside currently and it is 83F with sweat pouring freely at 8::30pm. The rest of the week will be highs of 98 and lows of 76. Today's heat index was 111.

Have you seen the tombs like in the pics?

Ah yes...the red horse does have a kick and good taste

Oh I feel you. I was there for 30 days. I stayed in a hotel North Luzon. After a shower with no water pressure I got out and felt like I was hot and sweaty again lol

Dead is dead....What a waste...ive never even been back to visit the graves of my parents or other family....
They aint there.....
Customs are sure strange from place to place....
I don't even have much for pictures of my anteceedents....
I prefer the memories...they are always fresh if not always fun....
