Alrighty. Bout time. We can "lose" trillions, just lost somewhere. Now lets spend it instead of losing it.

“Exit Tax” - something about overseas corporate income

etc. etc.

That's it?
"Something about..."?
Is she talking about closing the loopholes in which corrupt greedy corporations, and individuals hide their money in safe places overseas so they don't have to pay their fair share (as if they do anyway) of taxes?
Tough!
GOOD FOR HILLARY!

Isn't it political suicide for a Presidential candidate to declare IN ADVANCE that he/she is going to raise taxes? I think Walter Mondale said in a debate, "I'm gonna raise taxes." That was the end of the line for him.

Theyve changed it to "im going to increase taxes on the wealthy" then in reality we all get hit one way or another. People believe anything as long as they identify with the speaker.

The Country Needs a Prez. who Understands Economics , and a way to generate Wealth through well thought out Foreign and Domestic Policies . Is Hillary that Person ? Is Ted Cruz ? No , but that other Hated Man IS ..............

That other "Hated Man" will raise taxes and revenue inflow too! But it will come from Mexico, China, Pakistan, or any other country who is taking more from the USA, than they're giving back to our wonderful country.

Trump will raise tarifs. Then China will call in all the debt we owe them. Poor idea.

Why would any person in their right mind give these a#swipes in DC another penny. They have already proven time after time they don't know how to spend money. This insanity is getting old.

Remember most of this extra tax burden will fall on the super rich.

Not you and me. The super rich. The people who have been enjoying tax cut after tax cut over the last 30 years.

They all worked for Bill. He was the one in charge. They all answered to him. No corporate president does all the work. They hire people to do that. But at the end of the day it's the corporate leadership that makes or breaks a company.
A balanced budget was bills accomplishment . It took a whole eight years and a war with W at the helm to blow the whole thing and send us into austerity.

Uhhhhhhh . . .

IIRC . . . except for the absolute top (globally) very tiny fraction of a percent of the super wealthy, taking 95% or more of the wealth of the wealthy in the USA would not balance the budget by a wide margin.

I think they've turned it all into funny money. Their major goal now is !!!!POWER!!!! absolute tyrannical dictatorial power over all the serfs and slaves . . . all the 'little people,' in the words of the gritchy one.

They are evidently planning to crash the whole economic system to make their new one easier to set up.

Purportedly the Rothchilds alone are worth $300 Trillion . . . with a T.

$100 billion/year in taxes is nothing, it's 3%. In actual fact we need about $1 trillion/year in increases right now just to balance the budget.

That other hated man is proposing $2 trillion/year in spending increases while simultaneously cutting tax revenues.

That's what they keep saying every time they increase taxes.

Going on 100 years now.

Fortunately for you then, tax rates have gone down over the past 50 years or so.

a reply to: xuenchen. A fairness tax---a dream tax any utopian socialist would love because that's what they do. Redistribution for arbitrary things is grossly unfair.
Oh yah she calls govt spending an "investment" which is just what I've read they call redistribution of wealth now or in the case of the middle class redistribution of our modest paycheck to whatever the heck program they want to spend on.

There should be a capital gains tax and Wall Street tax.

They make money out of thin air!!

The least they can do is contribute to our failing infrastructure and center and and school systems.

I agree however that they need a more conservative approach to smaller government and fiscal responsibility FIRST.

Why doesn't she do something for American born workers and leverage tariffs on imports and exports like she should.

It's a disgrace that we run sweat shops in be US with illegal immigrants while people in this country can't find work that pays more than 15 an hour, # 15 an hour is great for most people. I think it's crap but whatever.

Why can't ANYONE run that wants less Government and less taxes and less laws? I am so disgusted with our Government right now and Hilary is a huge part of the problem. None of these candidates in 2016 give a crap about shrinking Government which is the only thing I actually care about.

Such a person did run and the Right Wing sold him out.

His name was Ron Paul.

My problem with sites like that is that nowhere in their "Trade-Offs" section do they entertain the most pragmatic, sensible alternative to spending that much money: return it to the tax payers who it was stolen from.
