Sounds good and fair except and like common sense but it just so happens to now be against the law in NC and MS and on the table in other states like Tennessee at the moment.

Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards issued an executive order Wednesday that protects LGBT state workers from discrimination — and bans LGBT discrimination in state contracts — and also rescinds an order by his Republican predecessor.

In 2015, former Gov. Bobby Jindal signed a “marriage and conscience” executive order to protect those who exercise their religious beliefs opposing same-sex couples marrying.

But Edwards — a Democrat — said Jindal’s decree was “inconsistent with the object and principles” of his efforts to protect LGBT people from discrimination.

In a press release explaining his decision, Edwards said Jindal’s order served “a narrow political agenda. It does nothing but divide our state and forced the business community, from Louisiana’s smallest businesses to large corporations, like IBM, to strongly oppose it.”

This is a baby step in the right direction but falls short.

What is wrong with society! Cmon people if you have a penis you go to the men's bathroom, if you have a vagina you go to the women's bathroom! If you want to be a woman and your a man, you do it legally by going to the state and getting your birth certificate and ID changed to the sex you want to be. Same as for a woman wanting to be a man. It's that simple! Oh it's not real simple, you have to actually have to take the time to do something, other than shop or post your transgendered porn online!

I am not against porn, or transgendered people, but I am against a man who just decided he is gonna be a woman, and starts going into a public restroom, and accidentally or purposely shows his genitals to my little girl! Do you want to see what happens? I don't think you want to. This law just does not just protect people who are for the law but those who are against it too. There are a lot of creeps out there, and yes there are good people too, but do we have to create a situation where things can be good for those creeps? What about my little girls life? Or my little boys life? Do these matter to you? It is very easy to create a transgendered bathroom, a men's, and a women's bathroom.... Why can't we do that, why do I have to be forced to use a restroom with a women wanting to be a man? as it is most men don't like using the urinal next to another man! Cmon people get real!

But, this is mostly meant to target kids in school. Kindergarten on up.

There's been a lot of media about transgender kids in school using the restroom they identify with.

Resulting in paranoid/ignorant parents making a big deal out of it.
