You only have to register Party for primary voting...cuz it is not actually an open election...the RNC and DNC are private organizations running a private caucus.

You don't need to register as a dem or Rep. or Ind. to vote in a general election (gov.)

Its been covered many places...not some obscure story...and Trump himself explained they missed the deadline to register..So no...this is not some made up thing or spin story..

This fact alone makes me think that Trump isn't to serious about his campaign. His wife isn't even registered to vote for him in the primaries...WTF

They probably intentionally delayed registering just in case The Don went independent. They still should have known about this rule.
