Many deny Israel has any more role in the world when it comes to God's plan for them.

The earth is divided by the number of the tribes of Israel because the world shall one day be ruled by them from Jerusalem with Christ Jesus on the throne.

The body of Christ is a whole different entity.

change Duet you can replace Israel.

I don't know anyone who thinks that Israel has no more role in God's plan because everyone I know knows that everything that happens is and is a part of God's plan. Israel is a part of the world and has a disproportionate amount of power for a people who are onlu .02 percent of the population. But if they weren't a part of God's plan they wouldn't exist.

"You said that the world is divided by the number of the tribes of Israel" that number is 12. What are the 12 divisions?

Christ ruling from a throne with Israel? You have been reading to much into apoalyptic prophecy, those prophecies predicted a defeat of the Romans for the most part as in Revelation and the DSS and none of those prophecies came to fruition and are failed prophecies. Revelation is not going to cone true and neither are any of Pauls trash predictions.

Zionism has as its little pet fundamental Christianity who will do anything to get Arabs out of the Holy land so they can rebuild the Temple because they both have seperate but not opposing prophecies about the rebuilding of the Temple ushering in a new age.

Fools all of them.

Christ was a human who grew into a myth that is very popular but he is not coming back, nobody would even believe him.

Well it seems that in the end times that the little horn beast (anti-christ) will need a re-built temple to cause the abomination that causes desolation ,so the temple might indicate a Jewish one and so Israel as a nation may have to exist . When Jesus was pointing to the future He refers back to what Daniel said about the End times .4 beasts come on the scene .1 beast is where the little horn comes up in .That beast is cast into the lake of fire while the others are allowed to go on for a little longer .

I read that the Masoretes who translated it from the Greek (Septuagint only refers to the first 5 books) were shocked to learn that Yahweh was not the Most High and was a Son of El and decided to change the word God to Israel so no mention of Sons of God was made thereby eliminating the possibility of Yahweh being a Son of El.

Follow the translation from the DSS to the different english versions today and you will see that most hide one way or the other, only Catholic bibles translate it right (that I have read) and the NIV KJV and all the evangelical favored bibles have cleverly reworded it or say sons of Israel.

It's rather obvious.

The Israelite tribes came out of Egypt (which was truly polytheistic), after 490 years, with a one and only God concept (established back well before Abraham). Their "one God" concept opposed the Egyptian pantheon and was clearly identified as "the only true God". Moses revealed that the previously unnamed God (described simply as Elohim, meaning 'God') had revealed His name to Moses and was called YHWH (Exodus 3: 13-15).

The understanding of the wording used in this manner is highlighted in the Mount Carmel challenge (1 Kings 18: 20-40) to the priests of Baal: namely "is Baal (Hadad) Elohim or is YHWH Elohim?" (in verse 21). We translate that verse as "is Baal God or is YHWH God?" Here we can see that 'Elohim' is a general descriptor of 'God' and not a proper name.

That there was a God in the Canaanite pantheon called "El" does not necessarily equate with the Hebrew use of "Elohim" as indicated by the wording in multiple places throughout the Bible but most clearly in the Mount Carmel challenge.

That "Elohim" is a plural term also does not indicate a number of gods is highlighted by similar use of Adonai (the plural of 'lord' - "Adoni" in singular.) and Baal (also the plural of lord, but in Canaanite language).

Upon entering Canaan, the Israelite's took to worshiping the Canaanite Gods and this was the cause of their eventual loss of of statehood to the Assyrians first and then to the Babylonians, Greeks Romans & etc. The continued wandering from 'the one true God' was the cause of all the Jewish national troubles all the way through the Bible and continues to this day.

It is quite clear in the Bible that the Israelite monotheistic God concept preceded the uptake of Canaanite polytheism. Your sequence would invert that order.

Jesus Christ did come back once before. There were numerous witnesses. All that is said about Christ and what His life means for us, depends upon His physical resurrection.

Surely, if God had been unable to resurrect Jesus, it does not bode well for us who are all mortal.

One might ask that if Jesus was not God and did not resurrect, what is the purpose of the whole Bible? It would be just as valid to us as a Harry Potter novel.
