Hello all.........and Mods ahem.

I came across this little gem just no and thought you all might wish to see it?

I think it's highly credible given it's from the horses mouth so to speak.

High-profile hacker Gary McKinnon claims to have some interesting information about the US Navy’s intergalactic adventures…

Gary McKinnon is a British lifelong UFO fanatic and computer expert, whose 2002 arrest for hacking into the US Navy and NASA systems was labeled the ‘biggest military computer hack of all time.’

McKinnon claimed the security was so lax, he didn’t expect to get caught. He used a program called Landsearch to scan documents and files to look for UFO cover-ups, and he did so undetected for two years before the game was up. McKinnon then faced a ten-year legal battle in the UK, only narrowly avoiding extradition to the USA.

He has spoken before about exactly what he discovered during that time, but never in as much depth as in this interview with RichPlanet TV.

McKinnon claims:

* In Building 8 at Johnson Space Center, there is someone whose job is only to airbrush UFOs from images, since they are so commonly captured.

*He found a US Navy spreadsheet entitled ‘Non-terrestrial officers’. McKinnon admits these words “can be interpreted in various ways,” but one thing is for sure: given the name, we know they’re not based on Earth.

*McKinnon says there were maybe 25 rows on the excel spreadsheet with officers’ ranks and names, and that the ships had the prefix ‘USS’, just like American sea vessels.

*He claims of evidence of “material transfer between ships”, of which he guesses there are “possibly eight to ten.”

*McKinnon says all of this points to evidence that the USA has war ships in space, which might account for why the Bush administration were so keen to have him incarcerated in the States.

In parts 2, 3 and 4 (which follow the video above on YouTube), McKinnon expands on the information shared in this first part (and gives his reasons for not believing in the moon landings, amongst other things).

Many might be quick to label McKinnon a quack or a liar, but in this interview his body language doesn’t suggest he’s making anything up: in fact, during the course of the four-part interview, his story is surprisingly consistent.

Anyway, enough of my dribble......enjoy!

Great avatar.
This story, while intriguing, has been out for many years. I know there's been threads on it in the past here.

Why the US government wont prosecute individuals like this - presumption of innocence and the right to call witnesses and confront accusers.

If this made it into a US courtroom he could subpoena officials involved and confront them under oath.

I don't know if this particular video has been shared but certainly the contents of McKinnon's hacking has been discussed here. I just wish he'd shared the names of any of the ships with the USS prefixs.

They tried to!

Why can't the stupid US Govt. understand that people from other countries are not subject to their laws unless they are standing on US soil.

The US does not own the bloody world.

If they're stupid enough to have classified Intel on an unclassified network, the Internet, I guess anything is possible.

Hmm this seems to be a once every 2-3 month "Oh My God, did anyone Know this topic"

Ok here we go...

The Ship Names are Not really Ships but Satellites for Communications, if it has a hull and can be controlled even by remote it gets a name, Their Crew Roster that is attached are Usually Located at Military Bases that handle Communications. Material Transfers, or ON REPS of Fuel, Replacing worn out / broken Parts. What did you think that ARM on the Space Shuttle was for until they got Scuttled ( I hope and pray NASA is still launching and not letting the Ruskies handle our com sat gear.)

BTW interesting side note, those Same Satellites are leased out to Telecom and Television companies to make sure those in the states get their latest ESPN fix. And lately the GPS craze everyone likes to fit in to the dash of their Personal Owned Vehicles.

The only thing building 8 does is track the bloody things to make sure none have gone off course. At least 20 of them can be found where they are located with an OPEN RECORDS REQUEST. The other 5 well no one that knows will say where they are.

But then the hope that there is something not human made out there seems to out weigh the simple explanation every time which adds a nice comfortable buffer zone. After all an OPEN RECORDS REQUEST for say UNITED STATES SPACE WARFARE FLEET information can be summarily denied since it does not exist, But some thing Like Geo-Synchronous Communication satellites leased out by the US government and covered in the US General ledgers can be... Assuming you know what area to ask for by proper title.

Something to Chew On while Enjoying a

And extradition was blocked by the home secretary because McKinnon said he would kill himself. When will the stupid people educate themselves on international treaties instead of making ignorant claims that aren't true.

I't was an act of espionage against the US, so it's their concern. You can't be serious to why they wouldn't want to pursue him. It has nothing to do with them "owning" the world

He wasn't supposed to be able to get into that computer, on that network so easily.

He had a little *ahem* ... "help" ... that even he wasn't aware of (and probably isn't still).

Well the Camera was Borked on those, it had to deflate the reflective shield to even get a look and see... But that is a digress slightly out of topic....

And I agree he must have had help from someone on the inside trying to cross sipper and nipper because of sipper not being regularly checked by infosec for porn... That is always a night mare when that mess happens.....

It may be a horse's mouth, but it's a visually impaired 3 legged horse.

McKinnon has shown people nothing because he has nothing. He saw a low resolution image of something that he believes is a spacecraft, but has never been able to show his image. Had he not been prosecuted for the hacking you would never had heard of him.

"Hey guys, I have proof of UFOs"
"Really, where?"
"No, honestly I did"
"Got a photo or anything?"
"Umm..."

He has been seized upon by the UFO community because he says stuff that they agree with, not because he has any kind of smoking gun. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Well consider that McKinnon wasn't a particularly spectacular hacker by any means. And this was back on dial up modems too. Kids today don't even know the pain of having your session dropped if someone picked up the phone someplace else in the home.

Good god...I remember, "Are you on that internet?! I need to use the phone to make a call!"

But where's the impossible to deny proof? in two years he could not make a thousand backups? also i don't think he would be around if he knew so much, he would have been hit by a bus or died for a hear attack or a freak accident way long ago like all others do.

But who knows, i just think he went looking for something and he "found what he was looking for" even though he had to figure it out from documents that weren't exactly the smoking gun, otherwise why wouldn't he have copies of everything after two years? doesn't make any sense to me, i may be missing something but i don't think anyone can explain why, for real, and "my proof suddenly disappear" is not a good explanation, that's just for tv shows where they copy everything into an usb drive and don't bother to make more copies so everyone dies to keep the one single drive with the truth safe. Nope just nope
