You live in a world with other human beings and benefit from the labors of those human beings, ignore that at your own peril.

Why do those people labor? So they can earn money and obtain property they want.

There are repercussions for ignoring the needs of society and those around you, for taking without giving back,

Who is not giving back?

People work in order to earn money to purchase goods and services they desire.

This is a mutually beneficial agreement with the provider of the good or service. It increases the available wealth in society.

for ignoring those who work along side you to make this world you live in and give you the things you enjoy.

Because they want property too.

You want to not be responsible for your end of the social contract,

What contract? When did anyone sign a 'social contract'? Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. That's not a contract. That's a morality.

then you need to remove yourself from society, immediately.

No, he and the rest of us need to keep providing the earnings of our labor in exchange for goods and services we want.

Find some unclaimed remote wilderness somewhere and survive only from the sweat of your own brow. Then, and only then can you claim what's yours is yours and yours alone.

Actually I think you should go to that place, with all the people who think like you. Form your own community and 'social contract'... see how long you last before you discover that working for your own personal benefit is what leads to dividend benefits for the rest of society.

Okay I'm a contractor every penny I run through my business account is taxed on average I run 300000 through my account I have 3 employees besides me their salaries vary but roughly come out to about 120000 a year. I have 3 trucks fuel alone runs about 30000 a year, maintenance on thetrucks run about another 5000, insurance on the vehicles then the kicker on the equipment I install I have to pay a sales tax on it then hopefully the customers pay when they pay I have to pay a tax on products I've already paid taxes on then my state contractors insurance ... My contractors license and then my employees state license various tools and all together the IRS only sees the end product of 300000 when my operating costs ran 275000 and they are wanting me to pay more taxes

Right because all those offshore bank accounts, slave labor, and sweatshops are so helping society. You seem to not realize that it's the filthy rich doing these things and type of things that are the issue. No one has a problem with rich people that pay decent wages and don't hoard their wealth where it's simply removed from the economy of the world.

Yet you all refuse to call a criminal a criminal. Help reign in the people destroying the world, and no one would care about you and yours. Ignore these people and protect them, and yeah things will rightfully fall apart.

The only reason "your" wealth is in danger is because you keep protecting these people instead of joining the fight to remove the cancer. It's not us that's the threat to your wealth, it's them forcing our hand. No one wants a revolution, we simply want to live our #ing lives without being used and abused by bloodsucking vampires.

You possibly be caught in the crossfire, so will many of us, a lot of people will get hurt, it will suck for everyone on all sides, and in the recovery process life will be hell. No one wants to go through this. This is the last act of a desperate people because they know it will not be easy, and many on both sides will suffer for it. But there comes a time when it's necessary, when those who hurt everyone, who prey on everyone are protected and allowed to do so unmolested there's no other choice.

Yes I have every deduction since I started my own business in 2005. I can not write off equipment I pay for before a job and hole the customer pays if they don't I'm stuck with the bill I can't write off as a deduction because it's " wishful Money"

Right, because there is a direct link to people who work to earn money and those who take advantage of corrupt government that allow taking advantage of people.

Seriously.

You seem to not realize that it's the filthy rich doing these things and type of things that are the issue.

You don't seem to realize that those activities only exist people there is a market for them, and a government that allows it.

No one has a problem with rich people that pay decent wages

Agreed.

and don't hoard their wealth where it's simply removed from the economy of the world.

Newsflash: no one who is wealthy hoards their wealth. If they keep it locked up, why earn it in the first place? They spend if they want to enjoy their income, and invest if they want more money.

Yet you all refuse to call a criminal a criminal.

No, we refuse to call honest businessmen criminals. There is a difference. Just having a lot of money does not make you a criminal. Abusing people and circumventing the law makes you a criminal. That is not a social contract, that is the law.

Help reign in the people destroying the world, and no one would care about you and yours. Ignore these people and protect them, and yeah things will rightfully fall apart.

You are not making any sense here.

The only reason "your" wealth is in danger is because you keep protecting these people instead of joining the fight to remove the cancer.

No, my wealth is in danger because parasites who can't motivate themselves enough to

1) earn their own living
2) take a chance with a new job
3) research the market to find the best value for their money
4) resist the latest fads and gizmos
5) save their money

seem to think they are entitled to free crap and believe a politician will stick it to the 'fat cats' and bring about some utopian equality and fairness.

Here is fairness: You deserve what you earn from the fruit of your labor. He who does not work, does not eat.

It's not us that's the threat to your wealth, it's them forcing our hand.

No, it's you and other people who believe you are entitled that are a threat to the livelihood I earn for my family.

No one wants a revolution, we simply want to live our #ing lives without being used and abused by bloodsucking vampires.

Then find a new job and stop buying crap you don't need.

Hmmm unfortunate, wish I had answers, but that goes into probably an issue with tax laws made to keep small business down and benefit larger businesses. As a contractor and thus pretty much a small business owner, you're actually one of us little people. You're not actually on the side of the filthy rich, in fact most people that defend them aren't actually. They've made a concerted effort to screw you too. Most rich people aren't the issue. It's everyone with money protecting those who are that is. None of this would be necessary if these people were brought to task instead of allowed to run rampant. Most of our taxes go to corrupt politicians and big business/banks/military industrial complex, and all of these work together to make sure it stays that way.

You have blinders on. Most people work hard for what little they get, more than during the dark ages, more than when serfs to what today we call tyrants. Yet, while we recognize them as tyrants, we look at people slaving away today, and say work even harder, work longer hours, stop being lazy and asking that people be allowed to have a reasonable balance between work and a life.

Few people complaining aren't working harder than humanity has ever had to.

Why do we give today's tyrants a free pass?

Yeah, like I said, and it's well known, it's not the increased tax that's doing you in, it's the unfair tax laws oriented at keeping you down so that bigger business have no real competition but each other. Is why they need to be stopped, before small business go the way of the dodo as well. These corrupt wealthy individuals and their political attack dogs are attacking us on multiple fronts and trying to play us against each other while they go scott free.

Oh right, and it's keeping the prices high on your equipment so that it's really only affordable for bigger businesses.

But with a flat 15% Business Rate, not up to 35%, you could reinvest and grow. It will never happen with what is in place now and certainly not with Sanders. He has not mentioned anything about helping small business owners. Only going after big business(never happen) and bundling MORE Payroll and Business taxes.

This is the biggest thing I am looking at all candidates for. The Sanders plan adds a new payroll tax that can be adjusted at will for both employee and employer. It is scary.

A person with a business who is pulling in a net 100k-200k a year while running a million dolllar company could be homeless in 6 months these days but a person can come over the border, have a child and suddenly they are taken care of until they can do it on their own but who would? In all honesty, I almost cannot blame a person for not taking advantage but simoly using the system we have put in place. They do not pay taxes but they will get a tax return. It happens quite a bit. They put nothing in and get 10's of thousands out. Now they are pushing to let them vote.

And the amount of benefiets illegal immigrants and people having kids to live off the system will receive is equal a new Honda civic. Doesn't the goverment realise that 28th their system. People are having more and more kids because the more kids you have the more money you receive from the government and moms make a lot of money having kids. They don't get rich off of it but they don't have to work either.

OK, so explain why someone should pay that much in taxes. Why should anyone?

Where does it stop? At what point has someone paid their "fair share"?

And don't just make something up because you envy people who are more successful than you. Keep in mind that you might become successful to that degree yourself someday.

where does it stop??????..........how about when the wealthiest in our country pay the same amount PERCENTAGE WISE as middle class taxpayers do....that's called "fair share"

OMG. I was just reviewing the thread here, and I have to say, at this point - and because we are in the mud pit - that you two, you and your ever-so-charming wife, are so full of it that I can't believe you're not just bad sitcom characters.

WHAT THE HELL and JESUS CHRIST is it with you two?!!!!

How is it you think we are all "envious", and that our sources are just empty yelling? We have been presenting reasoned, intelligent, serious data and information for you lot for MONTHS now - Bernie's own website to clarify his plans, independent sources' data, facts, election results, op-ed pieces, truth in disclosure about what "democratic socialism" is, and so on and so forth AD LITERALLY NAUSEUM.

But you STILL REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE IT. Like a 5-year old.

HOW on God's Green Earth is that POSSIBLY acceptable behavior from a grown pair of 'educated' people??

You are ridiculous. Both of you......hysterical, irrational, willfully ignorant and spewing disinformation deliberately.
You really ought to be ashamed of yourselves. Disgracefully trollish behavior. Or, some sort of Stockholm Syndrome type thing.

Oh, right, they call it desperation, grasping at straws, and flailing about.

Or maybe people don't wanna jump on the Bern bandwagon.

I sure don't.

So what? Is that what debate is to you? Name call and brow beat until everyone "sees" how "right" you are?

Bernie supporters have the same messiah complex ascribed to Mr. Sanders as most of you people had with Obama. Now look where we are.

More of the same "change you can believe in" crap, and you expect people to fall for it again? Why?

Yes, this guy is spot on.... he's based in Seattle......
there are others too, who've been pushing for it.

The guy in Las Vegas: America can afford a $15 minimum wage, tech CEO says

America should have a $15 minimum wage.
That's what billionaire Marc Benioff, the founder and CEO of Salesforce.com (CRM, Tech30), believes. Corporate leaders need to do a better job of balancing the needs of their employees with the desires of their shareholders, he argues.
Benioff applauded Los Angeles for deciding to raise the city's minimum wage from $9 an hour to $15 by 2020.
"I love that, and I think we should do that for the whole country," Benioff told CNN's Poppy Harlow from the software company's San Francisco headquarters. "That's one way to bring everybody up."

And this guy in Silicon Valley:

A Wage Hike Campaign From An Unlikely Source

Silicon Valley multimillionaire Ron Unz is sponsoring a ballot initiative to raise California's minimum wage to $12 an hour, up from $8. NPR's Lynn Neary talks with the multimillionaire conservative, the former publisher of the American Conservative magazine, about why.

Now...

I DARE YOU, you Libertarian gainsayers.....
you greedy, selfish, cold-hearted "right-wingers".......

To look at these articles. To READ them.....
(there may be some words in the TEDTalk that are beyond your vocabulary - just look them up.

It's exactly this kind of garbage hyperbole why people don't take you seriously.

To you it is greedy and selfish to want to keep what one earns.

How much of my money do you think you're entitled to and why?

Taxes aren't charity. They never will be charity. Government is but a necessary evil that should always be kept in check lest they commit crimes unopposed. But you wanna give them all of your money and treat career politicians like Sanders as messiahs.

It's actually quite comical in a morbid, my country is about to die, kind of way.
