I said that to get any change will be damn near impossible, in so many words.
Congress has had negative favorability ratings for years.... and nothing has changed.

That's because it's easier to answer a survey than it is to research your candidates and show up to ask the tough questions.
I think things are starting to change during this election, and I credit Bernie more than Trump for that.

See my last line in my first post in this thread:

If we went to the only other option for acting on our grievances, demonstrating against TPTB, I will guarantee you that they will shoot us.

Now that's some fear mongering right there.

I guess we will just have to wait four more years and see how much has changed.
I have my doubts that anything will change, unless Soros pumps money into groups to start riots in the streets.
( I know, more fearmongering... sorry.)

Well, personally I think not voting for someone simply because they are around corrupt people is dumb. He has always been around corrupt people. He has been around corrupt people for almost 40 years, and yet, he has never been found to take money from special interest groups in return for voting favors.

AND...he is talking about giving the most corrupt people in Washington DC -- CONGRESS -- $18 trillion to steal, err...spend. He is talking about growing our corrupt government even bigger with the highest tax proposal offered by these candidates.

No. My reasons for not supporting Bernie are not dumb.

I'm not even expecting a lot of change in four years. It's taken many years for the corruption to take over Congress. It will take many years (and many elections) to see real positive change.

But we've got to start somewhere, and now is as good a time as any.

You didn't mention taxes in your previous post. You implied that anyone associated with the DNC is corrupt by default, no matter what they have done to prove otherwise. That is kinda dumb.

Being against taxes is at least a more intelligent response. I don't necessarily agree that taxes are always bad, but I can respect that opinion.

Some members here seem to have an unhealthy preoccupation with trying to smear Trump. I think siding with the MSM on most any issue is probably a misinformed choice, but do as you will since there seems to be no end in sight to the rhetoric that fuels threads like this. Mark Dice makes a living off exposing the uninformed, and judging by his videos there's certainly no shortage of them. We could do the same with Hillary, Cruz, & Bernie supporters, so I don't see uninformed Trump supporters as being the lone guilty party here as your post is trying to suggest.

I didn't know you wanted my laundry list.

And I was personally screwed over by my former party -- the DNC -- so I know firsthand they are thoroughly corrupt. Bernie doesn't get a pass just because he used to be an independent. He's a democrat now.

I am not against taxes, BTW. I am against spending corruption. Fix government corruption first, then let's talk about huge spending. Bernie is putting the cart before the horse.

Is it really a problem that this florist is politically inarticulate? Why?

Because she is a perfect example of the lack of thought the average Trump supporter has.
You really don't get this, do you?
Trump has offered absolutely no credible policies for anything he claims will make "America great again". He offers nothing but nationalistic cheering, ignorant and vague statements he knows the idiot followers want to hear, he refuses to offer any clear examples of HOW HE WILL DO ANYTHING and simply jumps from one vague and random preachy statement to the next, and the idiots swallow it.

There is no getting around this, if you support Trump then you are politically moronic.

I would have no problem with people supporting this insane man even given his ignorant views (I would debate against it though), what I have a real problem with is the utter stupidity of the Trump voter who is planning to vote for him KNOWING that he hasn't offered anything, nothing at all, no reason, no plan, no policies...

All he does is get up there and rant, then get his idiot followers to chant "USA! USA! USA!"
I never thought I would see so many Americans voting for another moron after Bush, but here you all are, dribbling over your chins, putting your shoes on the wrong feet, ready to vote for another dribbling idiot.

It can't be that hard to find intellectually challenged people walking among us to shove a camera in the face of.

The worst part: that we can find folks who don't have the general level of insight that we have personally, and find entertainment in ridiculing them.

I can't stand Trump...but much more of this kind of stuff and I may just vote for him for spite.

So you voting for the socialist, the murderer, or the vampire?

Because those are all such superior choices than Trump right?

I voted for Trump in our primary and can guarantee you I'm not "politically moronic".

What I would consider "politically moronic" is thinking another career politician would
make a good president (Cruz, Clinton, or Sanders) and fix some of this mess.
The current system is broke and electing more of the same expecting different results is insanity.

People are fed up enough with the current system to overlook Trump's flaws just for the hope things might get better. That alone should clue anyone in to how bad it's got with the U.S. govt.

No policies? One policy Trump has proposed is the temporary ban on Muslim immigrants. With the trend lately I think that is one smart move to help keep the country safer. You'll never be able to stop terrorism completely, but it would put the brakes on extremists trying to enter the country.

Yes, but with Trump's money, we could get a 'Back to the Future' model!

Of course, the underlying assumption you and reldra both have is that if this lady were really "educated" and "informed" she would be voting for Sanders ... because that is the only possible assumption someone on the left could allow themselves to make.

A Young Turks Reporter seems to have found a Donald Trump supporter to speak to.

Just a few observation of many, from my perspective:

1. IMO, Donald Trump if full of BS

2. Y Turks are not exactly known as republican sympathizers. Which I'm not either BTW.

3. Shame is an effective tool in manipulating group thought.

IMO I can easily see how she was planted or they specifically looked for the most idiotic trump supporter on purpose , with a goal to make people embarrassed to be a trump supporter.

Also appeasing your target market doesn't hurt.

It's possible they interviewed several people and decided to post this one in full on purpose. I just thought it was important to show that Trump supporters are mainly like this. They seem to not know nor care to know what his plans are if he is elected.

Reldra I think you're better than this. You're too smart for this nonsense. TYT is terrible, has an agenda like anyone else and clearly culled the weakest member of the "herd" to push their narrative (best case scenario).

Most people aren't going to be articulate if they're being interviewed with a camera in their face. It's nerve wracking. If i'm watching Jeapordy! at home by myself I get obvious questions wrong because I'm hyped up. "You're ATS name" "What is DURRRRRRRR".

I didn't buy it when it was being done to Obama supporters, I don't buy it when it's being done to college students, I don't ever buy this type of nonsense. No idea how many people were interviewed, no idea if this woman isn't just paid acting for TYT, no idea about anything.
