Economists Agree That President Obama’s Economic Gains Are Remarkable

Although Americans still need a raise, something President Obama has called for since 2009, after years of economic desperation, American workers are finally regaining some of the ground they lost in the last Republican-created recession and the Republican-obstructed recovery that followed.

According the right though, America is going downhill. I wonder what color the sky is in their world.

Don't let those economics fool you! what do they know? Obama ruined the country! Thanks Obama!

What he did in 8 years was a miracle if you compare to what Bush did for 8 years. And how Bush left the country when Obama took over.

Now the Rep are screaming we need a Rep in the office! For Balance. So we had a good 8 years and now they want a # 8 year, you know, for balance.

It doesn't matter what bought-off intellectual economists say.

One persistent problem is the rising number of people getting food assistance (stamps) with very little decrease under Obama.

That one stat tells it all.

Rising student loan debt and personal debt tells of more Obama failures.

Bad article and very misleading.

What a load of horse hooey. When manufacturers are leaving Indiana for Mexico etc...and 90 million are on assistance AND we don't count the chronically unemployed as uneployed...the economy is not good.

This reply is not right or left, but if anyone thinks the economy is remarkable for the common man, I have a bridge to sell them.

The economy might be remarkable for international business interests, but it's remarkably crappy for most folks in the middle.

Nice try lol

The economy is rife with ticking time bombs....
The unemployment stats are lies.
Endless taxes wasted on endless war and endless false "security (including the NDAA and other egregious blows to freedom in this country....where the hell have these people been for 8 yrs....?

So if someone doesn't agree with you, they are "bought off"?

Do you have any proof that these economists have been paid to say good things about Obama? Tax records, pay stubs? Leaked emails or anything like that?

No?

Didn't think so.

Middle class rising. It's the richest and poorest's gap that's increasing. You can thank Bush for that.

The OP is delusional. It's not a left vs right deal, it's a reality vs fiction deal.

The reality is, the recovery was a lie. It is a lie, and it will explode right in everybody's faces sooner or later.

The sky is blue. It's one world.

1) The recession was not Republican created
2) The recovery started about the time that the Republicans started taking power back in 2010, not because of the Stimulus.

Oh. PoliticsUSA. That explains it. If they didn't have false narratives, they'd have no narratives at all.

The Obama administration has created millions of jobs but most of them pay poor class wages. The Obama administration and the current Republican congress have ignored the middle class jobs and its associated wages.

Apparently jobs are important to government but wage decline and stagnation aren't. The government seems very happy with the current state of the USA.

Wow, is that source partisan or partisan? When it breaks everything down into Democrat = good and Republican = bad, you know you might as well be reading party propaganda.
