Donald Trump is calling out the Ford Motor Co. because Ford has announced a plant expansion in Mexico.

Trump says its a disgrace as usual.

He might be right on part of this because Ford has around 9,000 workers in Mexican plants.

Maybe it would help the U.S. workers if those jobs could come back?

Eventually this job migration will come to a head and cause bigger problems.

Trump calls Ford Mexico plant 'absolute disgrace'

In a move that is sure to draw ire on the presidential campaign trail, Ford on Tuesday announced that it will be adding a new assembly plant in Mexico.

The Detroit automaker said it will invest $1.6 billion into the facility and create 2,800 jobs by 2020, with construction expected to begin this summer.

Ford's expansion in Mexico has been expected for months, causing Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump to repeatedly hammer the automaker.

How long will this water pot boil until it explodes?

Trump is a hypocrite. He has his own products, that bear his name, made in other countries.

Who is he to point fingers when he is guilty of taking advantage of foreign manufacturing?

Vote for me for President

Things will be much simpler all around......

Simple immigration policy----------------No Vacancy
Simple Economy Policy--------------------Work rather than welfare
Simple Tax policy---------------------------Flat percentage
Simple foreign policy----------------------Bomb them
Simple medical care policy---------------Free for all
Simple education policy------------------Free for all

And Ted Nugent would be VP

Ford has plants all over, many places in Europe that have been there before Trump or I was born, and of course they do alliances with other car makers to build clone cars...really boring stuff over here. Trump simply doesn't know what he is talking about.
To add, Ford never had much allegiance to any particular terra fima when it comes to the shekels. anyway

Well it's a new plant at over 2 BILLION DOLLARS so there would be some construction and equipment jobs too.

I question who the hypocrite is? Trump orders from factories already outside the country...as does everyone else..Hello?

His point is the continued departure of factories...so others like GM don't also have to move more factories to keep up with the Jones.

You know this, spare us the spin.....

A job on the line is a job on the line.

Ford can either pay someone $16 here, or $4 in Mexico. They'll work longer hours, weekends, holidays too in Mexico. How can Americans compete with cheap labor like that?

I guess we ought to legalize sweat shops here in America...

Trump is right here, flat out. But all the bone heads incapable of seeing their own responsibility for their own situation will blame white guys.

Average line worker in Mexico gets 26.40/day

Average line worker in US gets 55/hour plus benefits.

Ask the unions why there are no damned plants in the US any more.

Ever had a job on the line?

That is the weakest most biased statement I've ever heard an ATS MOD say.

Eventually we're going to have to Spartacus these selfish assholes.

The problem really is Wall Street and maintaining profit ratios for ROIs on their investment.

It's a completely broken system we keep trying to put band aids one to fix

Those are good manufacturing jobs that SHOULD be in the United States.

It's disgusting and I agree with Trump on this one.

Ummm...not to pile on...the same could be said for Nike and Apple...I thought all you progs were the compassionate ones...
Why on all this earth do you all completely leave that compassion behind when it comes to child slave labor...or slave labor in general...

My head is just going to explode...your all championing slave labor and nation building...I must have stepped into Bizzaro world...

Funny thing as a side note.
Toyota has several factories in Indiana and they do just fine.
They also don't have a labor union.
Don't think those things are not related.
