Maybe. I think it's too early to call the game. He still has sufficient power pieces and he can win back what he lost. But it's going to take a big sacrifice.

Response to your edit: what you call buffoonery resonated with us buffoons. He was never trying to tear any party apart. You need to learn more about the man, imho, without judging his rhetoric.

Every single time I hear people complain about his rhetoric, it's always the same people I've heard swear up and down and racial slurs left and right and f this and f that, and gossip this and that... ugh. The hypocrisy would be comical if these weren't of voting age.

Until Trump realizes that media and statistics shouldn't dictate his moves, we can't do very much. He is playing chess against two Grand Masters at once, and he's an amateur. He needs to stop reacting and get his initiative back: Go back to his passions and issues and answer those minor things people want to hang him on with small moves and not be conned into making a foul move.

His pawn structure is messed up. He needs to redevelop his plan and force tactics instead of trying tactics. He's a negotiator, that's what he does, now he needs to use that instead of trying to master everyone else's game.

Very good suggestions If Trump was ever a really serious candidate. imo, he chumped out a lot of very well intentioned people and played them for fools.

His extreme buffoonery was imo a clue as to his ultimate goal. Trump isn't stupid and knew exactly what he was doing; tearing the GOP apart.

The evidence seems to bear you out. He seems to be losing the race on purpose.

Either that or he's crazy or stupid. And I don't think he is either.

The thing about Trump is this:

Go and look at him being interviewed years ago. He sounds like a very astute guy.

Its only recently he's turned into Archie Bunker

I don't get that impression.
To me Trump just seems honest. He seems considerably "real" for a rich guy. It feels like you know what he really means, because he says it. Unlike other politicians who seem to be saying rehearsed lines that sound like meaningless, uninteresting lies.

I think Trump wins Wisconsin tonight by 10 points.

People are starting to get something we knew long ago.

The "Game" is rigged. Trump is our big "suck it" to the system.

Your Vote means less than nothing.

The rules are ridiculous.

Trump isn't done yet....

Disclaimer: I suck at predictions.

Trump could have been a Clinton Trojan horse, just like many predicted.

I thought that too, but as the race started progressing and he started winning the whole Trojan Horse thing went out the window when he started realizing he could win.

Granted I didn't read the article, but the problems in his campaign office could be attributed to loyalties. Considering he donated to the D's for a long time he probably has some campaign staffers loyal to Hill Dawg in there.

Trump's mind frame to win is what is driving him now.

So because Trump has "interesting" lies, that makes him more credible?

You haven't been paying attention.

The man calls himself a unifier. He actually does love everyone. But when running for President, he considered it wise to speak his mind.

Listen to every interview and only since he's been attacked has he attacked back, and that because his feelings were genuinely hurt.

You all need to learn to pay attention to details, frankly.

And he is a brand new grandfather. Why do you think the abortion question came up when it did? Because they knew how his answer would be beyond passion for that little grandbaby of his.

Think. :p

And they knew he would be honest.

That's what I saw as well. Trump is a master at marketing, manipulation, playing a role. His interview with "Playboy" is what I base my conclusions on.

The repercussions of him bailing on this race will be epic and prove just how distorted and corrupt American politics really is.

In the long run...Trump may have been a blessing in exposing the Charade.

Can you imagine the field day Hunter S. Thompson could have had with this election? Palin was an entertaining diversion but this is classic.

The media is controlling what people think about Wisconsin... and of course the rest of the race. Their lies are making it seem like people hate Trump just to discourage supporters.

For ex: this morning a local online paper, known for being biased left, posted a story negative to Trump. They got blasted in the comments by people saying they had no right to say how people feel because they dont feel that way. After a bit, they deleted the comments and turned off commenting.

We are all being lied to. And those in the FB meme bubble know no difference.

That's... ironic.

So - the game is rigged, our votes mean nothing... right?

Why in the # would one then vote for and support that system?

Absolutely amazing.... "Our votes mean nothing, except for when it comes to voting for this guy! He's different, and this time - it'll be different when he's in office! But our votes don't mean anything. The game is rigged. But vote for this guy who will fix the system!"

Political pandering 101....

You read him wrong. He is an emotional and sentimental man with a penchant for strategy.

I have a friend exactly like him.

He can't stand to see anyone hurting, but you don't play him in chess unless you're really good.

Not all emotional types are stupid. They play the board more than the person because they can't stand to hurt the person. They compartmentalize the individual and the game separately so they can play when necessary, but patch the wound later because they're sorry.

When someone is failing, they take the reins, not to be in control, but to genuinely help, then they show you how they did it.

The man is good, and even better than you give him credit for.

Sometimes I don't think people hear the words they are saying. Then I realize they must because they say them all the time. So then I decide that they just don't know what the words they are saying mean.

Yeah but Blue, I appreciate you like and respect him, but you have to understand, a guy like Trump is a con man by the very nature of his business.

He has studied esoteric psychology on how to persuade in given situations. Mass hypnosis. Indeed he’s gotten private lessons on how to do this.

That’s what I mean when I say he’s no dummy.

Rich folks go out and hire experts to tutor them on how to get your money, your vote, or even your soul.

If he is a fake then Trump is a master and should get some kind of award

It's basically like this. Tbtb took over this country by force, subversion, etc,etc to take this place. They feel they have earned it by effort alone. They aren't giving up the ship. It's "theirs". Imagine we have been taken over by China, first course of action take the country back as citizens right? As a citizen you find that the Chinese force to be defeated is nowhere to be found. This is because they are in your government already. What's the difference between executing a politician or an enemy soldier? This is exactly what George Washington warned us about in his farewell address. We don't know our enemies, and we're longing for belonging in an age where everyone is connected. Stop taking selfies and tweeting and take back your birthright!

Wall Street hates Trump. Which is evident by the establishment being so strongly against him.

I heard the talking head say that on a morning news program and thought, well Trump can't be that bad. Something about them losing a bunch of money on the Trump casino in Atlantic City or something.

Just means he won't be doing any favors for Goldman and friends.

You're right. When the detractors start to sound exactly like the media, you can tell there's a selective listening involved, and have stopped thinking for themselves entirely.

Even if Trump is the tough guy who really has a heart of gold (something I seriously considered at first, but eventually rejected) he still will face enormous obstacles.

For even the reformed politicians for the exception of FDR couldn’t do a dam thing to stop what they have done to our politics.

And when they tried they died: JFK; RFK; King and others.

Amigo, your youthful niveite is very charming but given time you will become as cynical, jaded and educated as us old dogs that have been in this game a very long time.

btw....I work with our local GOP media pool, the Republicans sign my paycheck, and they saw this coming as well.

If I'm wrong I'll eat my shoes....
