I still take issue with being instructed to color inside the lines. When I was in grade school I used to take pride making vulgar shapes instead of the intended picture in a connect the dots coloring books lol. I've actually been rifling through alot of my old art using Conte crayons to see if I cant find something that I can learn from myself from years ago. I've been pulling alot of sketches from 2010 and looking at some very interesting mistakes and victories. Why dont you post some of your crayola crayon art, lol its close enough in my book 😉

Particularly I am using Conté à Paris white crayon on black artgain 90lb paper.

Damn that's heavy paper. How do you keep from breaking your back lifting it?

I used to work in lithography and here's the scoop: the 90lb means that a ream (typically 500 sheets) of the parent size paper (before it is cut to 8.5 x 11) weighs 90lbs. But the problem is parent sheets arent always the same size, so you can have 90lb paper that is actually thinner than 65lb paper, its just the parent sheets are larger dimension.

Just some barely useful info for yas

I honestly can say I'm not well versed in white on black drawings, it's a reversal from what I consider intuitive

I will say I'm not saying I will never go there, because art evolves when you do it enough or get inspired by something truly wonderful.
